Curtis Manor is a beautiful place in Central New York
our wedding was May 27th 2023 and Sharon and her staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was outstanding.
We had a guest who is confined to a wheelchair and the staff was very courteous and brought him and his wife plate of food so they wouldn't have to wait in line.
I would totally recommend Curtis Manor to anyone for an event!

I cannot out into works how completely amazing these ladies and venue are! Such a beautiful venue. And the ladies there are phenomenal! Our original venue fell through a week before our wedding date, and they helped make our last week of planning and decorating so easy and stress free!! And the day of the wedding, such a breeze!! I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful Curtis Manor and the staff was! Highly, highly recommended!

Our daughter’s wedding was recently at Curtis Manor. The positives? Abbi, the person assigned to work with us was wonderful. The venue itself is beautiful. There is a huge amount of decor available to use which was great.

The appetizers we chose during the cocktail hour were good, but the table was against a wall, which meant our guests spent too much time waiting in line for appetizers. Not a good start. The dinner buffet food was mediocre for the price. We were disappointed in the food.

The venue is not inexpensive for our area so we thought we could have gotten a better experience for what we spent.

Chairs for the sweetheart table were not the ones requested. The kicker was they charge for everything. The charged to use the a/c! They deducted it from the deposit. $560 for A/C for 6 hours. The venue is too expensive.

This establishment has lost their moral compass! everything was going so wonderfully, then Covid happened. Things continued to roll smoothly. ..or so we thought. we were reassured that our wedding would still be picture perfect and everything we ever imagined. 2 months before our wedding they decided to apply for a liquor license after we already hired a vendor to take care of food and drinks. (In NYS if the venue applies for a license no other vendor is allowed to use their license on the property) we were forced to change multiple contracts at this point and there still was no guarantee that we would be able to have drinks at our wedding because they had applied for the license but it still had not been approved or received until 3 weeks before our big day. WE WERE FREAKING OUT. then 17 days before our wedding there we sat with no venue because we had "too many guests". Detailed Covid regulations were withheld from us. We were informed that we had too many guests and in order to proceed we must ask 24 guests to stay home, everyone must wear a mask while standing, there is absolutely no dance floor and you may not walk up to the bar for a drink. We were told 17 days before our wedding that everyone has to sit at their table for the entirety of the 5 hour reception except to get food or use the bathroom and there is absolutely no congregating. Within the last year Curtis Manor had done very little work for us as we had been doing nearly everything independently but they kept $2300 as a non refundable deposit. I am more upset than I am angered as none of this was our fault and we feel we have been scammed by Curtis Manor.

UPDATE: 7/9/2021 My husband and I took Mr pauldine to small claims court. After having to miss several days of work to attend court and dealing with countless hours of paperwork, time, money and stress we were awarded our money back! Only issue is that, this was in a
April and here we are almost mid July and still have not received OUR money. I have contacted Mr. Pauldines attorney multiple times and have yet to receive and response forcing us to take further legal action. While im sure he already knows it and couldn't care less I must say he is quit simply a pile of garbage.
Do not trust this man or any of his businesses.
