Current Catering was a God sent! I was having the hardest time finding a caterer for my wedding because the venue didnt have a proper kitchen to work in and no other caterer was willing to work such a large wedding (300+ invited). Current Catering was not only willing but super excited to work our wedding. I also wanted to do a family style serving and they did such a great job making sure the food came out hot and to each table at the same time! We also loved that they created a custom menu based on us as a couple and our love for different foods and flavors. It was perfectly unique and absolutely delicious. People are still talking about the duck and the pimento cheese macaroons!

My fiancé and I live in LA and had a destination wedding in Savannah. Food was a top priority for our wedding and we really wanted a creative, farm to table experience for our guests. Katherine and Matt 10000% delivered. We had an amazing tasting with them in Savannah on a pre-wedding trip and their creativity and presentation was so impressive. They were so fun and collaborative during the planning process and were very patient with us as we had to move our wedding twice due to covid. I loved working with this husband/wife team and our guests cannot stop talking about every item they served: from cocktail hour apps, to the pre-plated mini charcuterie plates, to the main meal, to the chicken biscuit late night snacks and mini pecan pie desserts. We consider ourselves foodies and I honestly couldn't praise this team more! Thank you Current for making our wedding experience so wonderful!

We feel so lucky that Current Catering was part of our big day! Everything from picking our food items, taste testing, and presentation discussion was easy and enjoyable. We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid-19 from April 2020 to September 2020 and with the added layer of complexity around serving food, Katherine and her team never made us worry. We knew they had everything under control, and they did! On our wedding day, they made sure we got a plate of every item and our guests raved about EVERYTHING! I could not recommend Current Catering more - friendly, professional, and delicious!!!

Current Catering did an excellent job making us and our guests happy at our 130 person wedding recently. They won us over during the tasting because of their flavorful food and clear understanding of how to present the food so it looked amazing too. We had full confidence in Katherine and we never had to worry about the quality of the food, the quality of the service or the quality of her staff. Guests were providing compliments about the main courses, sides, and hors d'oeuvres. This was really important to us because 90% of the food was vegetarian and we wanted our guests happy without steak or lobster. The macarons, local fig tart, risotto (and yes the chicken) were all very popular.
Oh, and I must mention they did this all on an island that required them to transport food and gear by ferry. They worked hard, were flexible when needed and helped us throw a great party.
We highly recommend them without any hesitation.

AMAZING! Katherine and her husband were such a treat to work with! They are so kind and do a great job making sure you are 100% happy with what you’re getting. We had a fairly elaborate menu for our wedding, and they absolutely nailed it! Everything was delicious and all of our guests are still telling us how amazing the food was at our wedding! The only negative was a tiny hiccup when they ran out of propane when making the Crème Brule. BUT! They busted their butts and were able to make it work and no one even really noticed it in the moment!
I honestly want to re-live our wedding just so I can eat everything from our wedding menu again!!!
Current Catering serves nothing but delicious food and are fabulous people to work with! We would recommend them 100%!!!

My fiancé and I searched for the longest time to find the right caterer. We didn’t want your basic, same ole same catering you see at most weddings. We wanted someone to understand our love for fun, unique, quality food. Matt and Katherine did just that! They had us fill out a questionnaire unlike any I have before. It had very unique questions asking us to describe a food memory! All the questions had us really think. We have some very picky eaters in our family but we also have people who love adventure and quality so we needed to cover all. Matt sent us some examples of dishes he could create custom for us. To note, we were also wanting food stations, not a plated dinner. We loved all of his suggestions and went with them. Katherine has the fine dining restaurant management background and she keeps in contact with the clients while Matt, using his creative culinary skills can create your dream wedding food. They were flexible when scheduling a tasting with us as we lived out of state. We had several kids and some guest with dietary restrictions, never posed any issue to them. They made it all work out. As most say, on your wedding day... find time to eat... well I only found a little time, wish I ate more but our guests RAVED about the food... which was exactly what we were striving for! I was so busy visiting with guest and dancing... Katherine even came to find me on the dance floor to make sure I was able to enjoy their unique salted caramel Ice cream cups. We opted out of the traditional wedding cake and just used them for a fun dessert display along with Gigi’s cupcakes.
As this review is getting too long and I have so much more to say, overall, they were great! I searched hard to find them and it was worth every minute. I hope they can make another couples wedding as great as ours was!

Everything was DELICIOUS!! People have been raving about how great all of the food was. I think everyone’s favorite was the candies bacon (which was gone by the time we finished pictures). We would definitely use them for an event again!! Everything from their set up to the food was perfect. They were so easy to work with and put up with menu changes. They were great. Can’t say that enough.

I hired Current, as they were the team doing the wedding dinner, for the Bridal Brunch/Lunch to be delivered at 8:30 the morning of the wedding. They did not show. I placed a call and was given an excuse and they appeared 3 hours late. The food was not as talked about and was only fair to okay. The bride and her maids were starving by the time it arrived. Excuses were made by Current and then to top it all off the wedding dinner was TERRIBLE. Not at all as paid for and served in a very messy manner, with one of the servers pushing the goopy risotto onto dinner plates with his finger. Poor clean up and poor service and aggressive response to our conversation about the evening, Would NEVER use again!

I used Current Catering for my wedding in July '21. I was excited to use them after a great tasting. Unfortunately the service at the wedding was very disappointing. The food was very late getting out to the guests (we did a plated dinner). So late that there was hardly any dancing as people were still seated waiting for dinner - some people didn't eat until just before leaving. And by the time food was delivered it was just hardly warm.
I learned via my wedding planner afterwards that the reason for the delay is that some of the servers did not shown up. The owner never reached out to me after this event so I can't confirm if this is true. But if it was, I wish this had been communicated ahead of time and that changes could have been made in the hours they had prepping for the wedding to adapt and ensure dinner didn't last the entire wedding (switch to buffet/family style/extend cocktail hour to allow more prep time). We paid a lot of money for what we thought would be a dining experience that was worth the price, but that did not end up being the case.
