Don't hire Russ. He was completely unprepared despite the fact of being given detailed instructions. When it was time for me to walk down The aisle he did not have the music qued up and I just kind of stood there waiting with my parents. He completely screwed up the mother son dance to the point where it basically did not happen. This fact still upsets my husband. We played the shoe game at the wedding and I gave him a list of questions to ask and he followed that list until the end when he decided to add his own question a question I did not want asked. The question was who has the crazy or family. Talking my husband later we were both very upset and did not want to have to answer that question. I gave him the specific list because I didn't want any inappropriate or hurtful questions asked. Furthermore he had an assistant with him who am I found out from a wedding guest of mine that he was using the n-word. This is an appropriate no matter the circumstance however I did have black people at my wedding and they should not have had to been in any situation where that type of language is being used. My husband spoke with Russ after the wedding to discuss the matters at hand he did not do anything to try to make it right or refund any portion of his fee and tried to blamed the venue. It should be said the venue does many many weddings a year and is impeccable. Do not hire this DJ he is a completely unequipped bar DJ that cannot handle a wedding of any size or capacity. He is completely unprofessional and cannot follow simple instructions.
