Last week my daughter was married at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills in Middletown and my husband and I are still receiving texts and phone calls about how fabulous the wedding was. Glowing comments about the ceremony, the décor, the cocktail hour, the entertainment, the staff and especially the food. The entire staff was outstanding and Mary, the Event Manager, thought of everything down to the tiniest detail to ensure sure my daughter’s wedding dream came true. Eddie, the Banquet Captain, ran everything perfectly. Since our guests continue to rave about it, I would like to also recognize Jeff, the Event Chef, for providing such amazing & delicious food choices. CT Wedding Group exceeded our every expectation!

My husband and i got married at the Pavilion at Crystal Lake on Saturday 4/6/19. We can not thank the CT wedding group enough for their AMAZING service!!!!! our wedding planner Cathy was the best! our wedding was everything and more than we could of expected! we can't thank them enough for making our day so perfect!

CT Wedding Group made planning a wedding effortless and stress-free. They were extremely responsive to my daily emails, answering all of my questions and providing solutions to any potential issues. My wedding coordinator was Allie and I cannot say enough great things! When I told her the vision that I was going for, she captured it perfectly in all the decor and ambiance at the Pavilion on Crystal Lake. She was on top of everything and my wedding day went perfectly!!! She made sure we always had a drink in our hand and was well fed. The food is hands down delicious. All of my guests were raving about how amazing the food was and wishing they had a restaurant they could eat at. Where do we even begin? We cannot thank everyone enough. From our first visit to our actual wedding day on 7/6/18, the Pavilion and CT Wedding Group were examples of the highest level of customer service and perfection. We knew upon viewing the grounds that we had to get married in the pines, and the view of the lake was unbeatable. However, what we didn't know was that we were also booking with an incredible team that would be with us every step of the wedding planning way! They answered every single email promptly, gave us countless suggestions, and even called when they had an idea for us. I cannot talk about our wedding day without talking about the angel that is Allie, our day of coordinator. From the moment we met her we knew we would be in amazing hands and our guests are still talking about how incredible she was. She calmed all our nerves, talked us through everything, kept the day running smoothly, and always made sure we had a drink in hand! The food was not only the best I've had at a wedding, but the best food I've ever had out. Our guests were asking if the chef had a restaurant they could eat at! We chose the corn chowder, summer salad, filet, salmon, and honey dijon chicken, and each one was better than the last! The actual Pavilion itself the day of was STUNNING! I know it has a rustic vibe when you first view it (which we loved!) but I couldn't believe how soft and romantic it was able to be based on the decorations and the vibe we told them we were going for. The CT Wedding Group is NOT a wedding factory, they care deeply about each individual couple and deliver the highest quality of results. It has been two weeks and we are still getting texts saying "Literally Best Wedding Ever!" We know that our venue, the food, and the staff are to thank for that. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Connecticut Wedding Group was the absolute best choice I could have made for my wedding this past November 2017. After having the chance to reflect on my wedding over the last few months, I'm not sure I can put into words how much the CT Wedding Group team means to us, but I will try! Let's start with the first meeting with Michelle. She completely put us at ease and assured us that CT wedding group would take care of everything for us. They truly exceeded our expectations from this moment on. The planning team, Mary-Beth and Samantha, were always so responsive and helpful, and I couldn't imagine having to had planned my wedding without them. They were always available to help, offer suggestions, point me in the right direction, and truly made me feel like a part of their family. Fast forward to the day of my wedding, Allie was the best coordinator I could have ever asked for. Every detail that was talked about during the planning process was done for me the day of the wedding. She was a magical wedding fairy that just made our day so much more special than it already was. Oh, and who can forget about the food. AMAZING! Best food you will ever have at a wedding! I just can't believe our wedding is over. The planning was so easy, the day of the wedding was perfect, and to this day, my husband and I look at each other and ask if we can do it again. And it was all because of CT Wedding Group. Where to begin. I met Mary Beth at a bridal show at our venue the Wadsworth Mansion. I immediately loved her a made a connection. After our initial meeting she assured us that they would take care of absolutely everything to make our day perfect. They are a full service which means they have a planner, decorator, caterer, day-of emergency assistant all in one person.

She and the staff put our minds at ease going over and taking care of every detail, The day-of, she made sure everything ran smoothly. I will never forget the moment she got down on one knee and scrubbed the back of my dress with a Tide-to-go stick because someone stepped on my train. Mary Beth was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us on our special day. You'd be crazy to go with anyone but this group.

The Pavillion on crystal lake was the most amazing venue! I couldn't gave asked for more from them for my wedding. The staff there is professional and amazing, they went above and beyond for us. Michelle and Melinda were our wedding coordinators and they were there for us to help us with everything from planning to the day of the wedding. We felt like we built a friendship with Michelle over the year before our wedding. We were treated with respect and also in a way that felt like family. The venue itself is beautiful. It is set on crystal lake in Middletown, there is a beach area for photographs, and we got married on site but away nestled into the woods overlooking the lake where they have a gazebo. The reception area also overlooks the lake with large windows and an outdoor patio. The food is amazing! There is a reason the chef won awards for best chef in CT. All my guests said it's the best food they've ever had and that the wedding was the best they have ever been too! We were taken care of so well and for a decent price. I can't say enough good things about the Connecticut wedding group! Thank you so much for giving us a beautiful wedding!

The Connecticut Wedding Group was so professional. Michelle (Dunkin) Moody is excellent at her job!!! She makes you feel at ease. She is on top of her game and answers all my questions so quickly. Michelle makes you feel like you have been friends for years. Michelle and the wedding group went above and beyond my expectations!! Our wedding went off with out a hitch. I couldn't imagine a more perfect Group to deal with come wedding time.
Michelle and the Pavilion at Crystal Lake crew had little surprises for us that made the day awesome. From the décor to the food it was excellent. I had many of my guests say that was the best wedding food ever!!! Many asked if the pavilion ever does dinner jut so they can go back for seconds!!!!

My husband and I could not have scripted our wedding day any more perfect. The CT Wedding Group, Michelle especially, made the day stress free and effortless. We had an image in our mind of what we wanted for our wedding day - something relaxing, elegant and fun for everyone in attendance. We toured all of the CT Wedding Group's venues, but we knew the Pavilion on Crystal Lake would be our place the moment we stepped on the premises. We booked the venue in January 2013 and the planners stayed in touch with us through our entire planning process, making sure we were staying on top of all of our vendors and planning. Michelle alleviated our stress and worries about how everything would go and look the day of the wedding with her creative ideas and input. The day of the wedding was a beautiful summer day. The wait staff was amazing and everyone was taken care of through the whole night. The food was absolutely amazing, we are still receiving compliments about the food! We had ten different appetizers, and for the entrees, we chose the salmon, Maple BBQ Chicken, Short Ribs, and the vegetarian. They also provided a signature drink were able to choose for the night and brought out desserts in addition to our cake after dinner. The venue did an amazing job setting up our decorations, centerpieces, etc. The garden lights and lanterns topped off the place to make it look like a dream. At the end of the night, the waitstaff cleaned up and boxed up everything for us to easily take home. We thought the price was extremely reasonable and worth the entire experience! We honestly have no complaints about the day and I even have one of my bridesmaids getting married there next year and using all of my same vendors she enjoyed the day and night so much!! Thank you to the Pavilion on Crystal Lake for making our wedding day the best day of our lives!!!
