Our daughter's and son-in-law wedding was October 2017. The Crowne Plaza of Lansing had great food, service, and so helpful and friendly. We had amazing appetizers from 5:00-6:00 with full bar in the Atruim and then everyone entered the Ballroom at 6:00 for the bridal party entrance, cake cutting, speeches and then dinner was served hot and promptly at 6:45, followed by music and dancing. Everyone raved about the delicious dinner of either steak or chicken. Portions were good size and the meal was hot for 200 guests. The pizza and nacho bar at 10:00 was very good and they kept it full. We had open bar until 11:30 and the guests were all having fun and on the dance floor all night. With a great venue and wonderful guests it was a wedding of our daughter's and son-in-law's dream. The Crowne Plaza' s service was top notch. We would highly recommend a wedding at this venue and well worth the cost for a stress free evening! They are your wedding planners! We dealt with Bill DuBois of the Crown Plaza and he was super! Thanks Crowne Plaza for all your hard work and professionalism!

Kendra and he rest of the staff at Crowne Plaza did such an amazing job. Our wedding was about a month ago and people are still commenting to us about how nice everything look and how good the food was. They made us feel so comfortable throughout the process and were more than willing to help if anything came up. Highly highly recommended.

I am not sure there are enough words to describe how incredible Dino, Kendra and the Crowne Plaza Lansing West were for our wedding. My mom and I stopped in on a whim to check out Crowne one afternoon and Dino was able to host us on the spot showing us around the hotel and ballrooms along with providing us many details of the wedding packages. There was such a great calming factor about Dino and he made us feel at ease. After Dino answered our many many questions throughout the next few weeks, we chose to go with Crowne Plaza Lansing West for our reception with one of the main reasons being Dino. Being an out-of-state bride, I was a little nervous planning a wedding from a far, but knowing I had Dino to help plan with made me feel at ease about everything. He was so patient taking various tours with myself, my then fiancé and family when we were in town visiting and answering all our questions along the way. You can tell he is incredibly dedicated to his job and role and is A+ player in my eyes for how he went above and beyond for us and our guests.

Throughout the planning process, Dino always promptly answered our questions and provided great direction. Even in the midst of losing his support staff, he handled everything perfectly. Kendra then came on-board and she is full of great raw talent. She met with us prior to the reception and effectively ran us through all the details of our wedding reception, confirmed she had contacted all of our vendors and assured us everything was all set for our big day. There was always a sense that everything was under control with Dino and Kendra and I cannot say how much of a relief that was to have throughout the entire wedding planning process and day of reception. I had full faith that these two would execute the day flawlessly and they absolutely did! IHG should feel incredibly lucky to have Dino and Kendra as their lead team members, they are out of this world!

If you are on the fence about booking the Crowne, DON'T BE! Book it and I promise you won't be disappointed. My wedding was 1-28-2017 and Dino, Kendra, and Bill and the rest of the staff at the Crowne made my dream wedding come to life! From the food, to the atmosphere, to the service, everything was exactly as I had pictured it!! And the best part was it was stress free because they handled EVERYTHING! You won't regret booking this place for your wedding (or any other event, I'm sure!)

WOW. That is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about the experience that I had working with Dino and the Crowne Plaza for my wedding. Our situation was unique, as the Crowne Plaza catered our wedding at an outside location. From my knowledge, it was their first time catering at this venue, and Dino and his staff were outstanding. Not only did I get a caterer when we signed our contract with the Crowne Plaza, but we also got someone to help plan the details of our wedding (such as timeline) and someone to help set up and tear down the reception space. Dino was on location for the entire wedding, and was helping usher guests to the cocktail hour space as well as into the reception space when dinner was served. Dino was available to talk to at what seemed like any hour of the day, and always responded in a quick, timely, and professional way! If we were to do this all over again, we would definitely still choose the Crowne Plaza as a caterer, because the service that we were given while working with them was invaluable to the planning of our wedding!!

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are updated. This was our hotel of choice for our out of town guests and we had over 30 rooms booked. The hotel worked with us to provide pizza/pasta buffet for our guests on the night before the wedding and then also breakfast the morning after. They were very helpful and responsive! Our guests had plenty of room to mingle and socialize all weekend.

First, the inside of the hotel is beautiful! All of the guest rooms were renovated last year and they have a very chic and modern look to them. There are also many perks to being a guest including access to a 24 hour pool and a milk/cookies cart that comes by the rooms in the evening! There is a new restaurant/bar, Bordeaux, in the hotel where we had our rehearsal dinner. I would describe the atmosphere of Bordeaux as sophisticated-- we were very pleased with the service and the quality of both the drinks and meals.

Second, the Royale Atrium is a large elegant space where our cocktail hour was held. There was enough room for our guests to sit and mingle without feeling cramped. The hors d'oeuvres that we chose included a seasonal fruit tray, cheese and crackers, seasoned meatballs, and mini chicken cordon bleus. Although we did not attend the cocktail hour, we were told by guests that the hors d'oeuvres were delicious! The reception was held in three of the Crowne Plaza ballrooms, and we could not have asked for a more beautiful space. The ballrooms were recently renovated and they are gorgeous-- as soon as we saw the chandeliers during our tour, we were in love with the space! The servers were extremely courteous throughout the entire night and the plated dinners came out in a very timely fashion. Our meal selections included filet mignon, salmon, chicken, goat cheese ravioli, or childrens. The food was phenomenal in our opinion and well worth the cost of a plate. In addition, we had a late night pizza station which was a HUGE hit!

Third, Tara Draper was beyond amazing throughout the entire planning process. We can't say enough nice things about her- she responded to every one of our questions in a timely fashion and she truly went above and beyond. She was there on the morning of our wedding, setting up placecards, putting out the table numbers and favors, etc., which was a huge weight off of my shoulders. We couldn't have asked for a better coordinator!

The staff at Lexington went above and beyond to work with myself, my husband and our families. We felt more than comfortable and confident with the planning and the execution of our reception. Our friends and families are still raving about how much fun they had. The food was delicious (and hot!), the staff was friendly and courteous, and the ballroom is gorgeous. In addition our guests who stayed over night at the hotel had great experiences! Rooms are great and the brunch in the restaurant is awesome!

I can't express enough how wonderful it was to work with the new Lexington Lansing Hotel (formerly Sheraton). Tara Hart made everything so easy and stress free. The Lexington is very accomodating as my fiance was going thru the immigration process from England and our wedding date was changed at least 3 times. Angela Bean and then Tara Hart always went out of their way to help with anything we needed to make the process easier. I also had my bridal shower here and it was spectacular. I will be holding future events at this location as they've always been a pleasure to work with :)
