Crown Point Catering, Inc is a wedding caterer based in San Diego, California. Having opened the company in 1983, founder Vicki Hamilton takes pride in continuing to provide her community with gourmet meals. Vicki and her experienced team are dedicated to delivering excellent service alongside their high-quality food on your special day.

Cuisine

Inspired by the distinct culture of Southern California, Crown Point Catering, Inc specializes in handcrafting coastal cuisine. With our mission to support our vibrant community, our team sources seasonal ingredients primarily from nearby farms and ranches. Winter, spring, summer, and autumn menus are available so that you and your guests can dine on the freshest flavors. For those hosting celebrations early in the day, a brunch can be provided. After you say “I do,” you and your loved ones are welcome to enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres such as artisan cheeses and delectable seafood. Depending on the format of your reception, a buffet, station options, or served plated dishes are available. For a sweet conclusion to the meal, a sundae bar, mini-dessert buffet, crepes, and much more can be prepared.

Happy Bride on Wedding Day

I recently hired this vendor for my wedding catering and I could not be happier with their service. From start to finish, the team was professional, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make my day special. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I received so many compliments from my guests about how much they enjoyed the meal. Food to die for!

I'm so happy we decided to go with Crown Point for our wedding. The food was amazing and we received so many compliments from our guests. We did reception style stations and the Italian station, dim sum station, and taco station. The staff was very friendly and they were having a good time. We also had two bartenders for our open bar. We worked with Orsika and she was very friendly and helpful. She even packed us a bunch of food to take with us in a really pretty box when we left the venue. Her team went above and beyond and did not disappoint!!

Awesome food at our wedding

Crown Point catered our wedding at The Ultimate Skybox in downtown San Diego. They provided us with exceptional service from start to finish. They helped us to create a customized menu that really fit our needs for the event. The food was absolutely delicious and their service during the event was amazing. So many of our guests have commented to us about how great the food at our wedding was.

Oriska (pronounced OR-SHE-KA) is passionate about food and entertaining. She has evolved a "philosophy of food" where she creates every meal into an event. Oriska's appetite for cuisine and hosting has expanded into over a 30-year career as an accomplished caterer and event coordinator. Growing up throughout Europe, Oriska learned the art of creating parties catered around excellent food, life, music, and conversation. Orsika returned to the States for university, and received dual degrees in International Relations and French Literature from the University of San Diego. She is a polyglot, and speaks Hungarian, English, French, Spanish, and Italian. To this day, she enjoys traveling, learning new languages, and (of course!) trying new cuisines.

Kimberly has been with us since 1995 and offers a background in event production, with her previous experience in the party rental and design field. Responsible for expanding our corporate and social market, her skills in planning and executing events stems directly from her extensive hands-on knowledge of the numerous facets involved in the planning. Dedicated member of SDMPI, ISES and The Executives Association, she is also currently pursuing a degree in Business Management.

He incorporates refined classical techniques into modern California cuisine to bring unique and fresh elements to our menus. His experience and exceptional organizational skills are crucial elements in the execution of our myriad of events. With his good natured attitude, Chef Teegan is always available to work together with our clients to create the most outstanding personalized menus for every occasion.
