My husband and I booked Israel for our wedding a year in advance. Though we did like him upon our initial wedding and were excited for him to DJ our wedding, he cancelled on us via text message 2 weeks before our wedding. We were devastated and were very close to having to cancel our wedding altogether because we had so much trouble finding a replacement. While things come up and life happens, we felt disrespected and betrayed. We booked a service; he made a commitment to us that he did not uphold. This was a devastating inconvenience and he did not once offer to help us find a replacement, refer us to other DJs, etc. We are bummed that Israel did not get to DJ our event, but I would not recommend to anyone out of fear that the same thing would happen.
