Thanks for checking out our work! We are April & Derrick Look and our photography and video work is not only our livelihood, but our passion. We are not just weekend warriors who shoot on the side, we’ve been doing this full time for 10 years, have been voted ‘best of’ by multiple statewide and regional publications, and have a dedicated boutique studio in downtown Middleton, WI. We love creating work that is not only full with creativity and quality, but also meaningful for our clients. As a family, we have 3 little boys of our own who keep us on our toes and make sure that we never have a dull day. Our two dogs knew us as a newlywed couple, and now help support us as family pets. We travel all through out Wisconsin and the Midwest to create imagery for our wonderful clients. We strive to live an eco friendly and plant based life style. Best decision!

We are so happy with our decision to book Creative Look Studios as our videographer. We were on the fence with whether or not we wanted a videographer, but were recommended to reach out to Creative Look by our photographer. I told Derrick what we were looking for and our budget, and he was extremely accommodating and easy to work with! On the day of the wedding, Derrick and his assistant were very professional, friendly and easy-going. Now that we've seen the footage from our day, we are so grateful that we decided to move forward. Derrick perfectly captured our wedding and we know we'll re-live the day through the videos for years to come.

Easy to work with with and very talented!

Creative Look Studios captured video footage of our wedding day in October of 2018. Derrick and April were extremely accommodating to what we needed from a videographer and very easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, Derrick seemed to be everywhere - capturing all the highlights of the day, yet was never intrusive. I especially appreciated his ideas and direction while wedding party photos/footage was being taken as well as while my husband and I were having photos/footage taken. Being someone who has never felt especially comfortable in front of any kind of camera, Derrick's suggestions, direction and ability to know when to sit back and capture more candid moments all solidified my confidence in his abilities. We were extremely happy with the footage he captured and would highly recommend Creative Look Studios!

We absolutely loved our photographers! They did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos and video. They were personable and easy to work with and had great ideas for shots to take. I can't wait to see our photos and video, but I know they're going to be gorgeous.

We worked with Derrick for our photography and videography and had a wonderful experience. He did an excellent job of providing instruction and making sure we were comfortable during our photos. Derrick was also very flexible in meeting us late in the evening or on weekends to accommodate our schedule. It was great to receive all our digital negatives in an online gallery and on a flash drive to send to friends and family, and we are looking forward to having our album and professional prints to display in our home. We are very happy with our photos and film--they capture the day perfectly!

I was very impressed by the teamwork and passion these professionals displayed during my wedding. It showed, as the quality of their photographs was amazing! I love the unique character and style of their photographs. I feel like my pictures are a work of art. The turnaround time was also much appreciated. It's always exciting to see your event again! I love our pictures and you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I booked Creative Look Studios for our wedding photography and were thrilled. Don't look any further, this company is great!! Derrick and April were wonderful to work with through the entire process. And our engagement and wedding photographs are gorgeous. Definitely the best wedding investment we made!

Derrick & April did the photography and videography for our wedding last April and we couldn't be happier. From the moment we sat down with them at their studio in Middleton we knew it was a great fit! It was important to my husband and I that we loved the work of the studio we went with, and that we were comfortable with the photographers, since we would be spending such a big part of our day with them. They did exactly that, they made both our engagement session and wedding photographs fun and easy. The day of the wedding they were very organized and made sure our itinerary ran on time, all of our wedding party loved them. Our photographs and wedding film are even better then we expected. We highly recommend the gorgeous coffee table books they offer too, they are custom designed and they were happy to make changes to the layout so we could get exactly what we were looking for. If I had to make this decision again, I would choose Creative Look Studios in a heart beat.

Derrick and April were a pleasure to work with from day one. If we had to do it all over again, Ross and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. In fact, we just had family photos taken with them and can't wait to see them!

Wedding photography can be expensive, but I think that Creative Look's services were very fairly priced, especially when you consider that your wedding photos will be one of the few lasting mementos from your special day--beyond the memories, of course!

Thanks to Derrick and April's work, we have a beautiful photo book that tells the story of our day from start to finish, complete with traditional, modern, and candid shots. I can't say enough good things about the experience! And I have certainly recommended them to friends in the area.

Derrick and April took the pictures for our wedding vow renewal ceremony and we truly could not have been happier! They helped us plan out the amazing locations for us and working together with my husband and I before the event to make sure the photos that we ended up with where exactly what I had in my mind as what I wanted. It was a very, small intimate day, but Creative Look treated it like the most important event of theirs and never treated it "little". Our 4 children were ages 5 and under at the time, and Derrick and April were fantastic with them and made sure they were a big part of the pictures and day which is exactly what we wanted.

When I went to see the pictures after, I literally had tears in my eyes. The pictures were priceless and perfect and continue to be up in our house many years later. The prints and book we ordered we fantastic in quality and truly, we could not have asked for more.
