We’re Kat & Mike, an outdoor loving husband & wife duo who loves adventure and experiencing the good things in life! We have a daughter (aka the future third photographer to Created Coastal Photography ;) ) Anya, and two sweet pups Indi and Keavy.
Enough about us, let’s get right to the point. We don’t want to be just some people following you around with a camera. We are here to be your planner, hype team, number one supporters and best friends! We want to capture all the moments from the first time you and your fiance share your vows, hiking to an amazing ceremony spot, epic wedding portraits, and simply celebrating the fact that you two just got married!
We believe that your elopement/wedding should be 3 things: stress-free, sacred, and A FREAKING PARTY! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Our why behind Created Coastal Photography is that we wanted to create a business that values capturing the emotion each couple feels on their wedding day, being able to show the authenticity between the two of you, and to tell a story within each photo. We want you to be able to look back at your photos and not just love the product, but the memories made while those photos were being captured!

Best photography team!
Wedding photographers are arguably the *most important* vendor of your wedding. Why? They keep you on time throughout the day, corral your family and friends and they take your pictures! It is literally how you re-live the day. When hiring a photography team, you HAVE to make sure they understand your vision.
Kat and Mike understood the assignment. We thought our engagement photos were beautiful (THEY ARE) so I didn’t think it was possible to top that shoot. Holy hell was I wrong. We are blown away by how absolutely stunning our wedding photos are. I’ve looked at them at least once a day since we got our sneak peek back. The angles, the lighting, the vibe, everything about them is just so on point. We could not be happier!
Kat and Mike are artistic geniuses.. and they’re really freakin fun!! They are like old friends - the kind you love catching up with and the kind who are not afraid to kick out your wedding crashers without you even asking.

A Great Choice for your Big Day!
Our wedding was the best day of our lives (so far), and Created Coastal Photography not only captured it beautifully, but was also instrumental in how amazing the day went.
Kat and Mike bring a professional, friendly, and easy to work with energy wherever they are. Whether you are meeting with them to go over your big day, or on the big day itself, shortly after spending time with them they will feel like old friends you can be yourself with. Which is monumental in getting beautiful pictures.
They have a great eye for detail, they keep the fun going, and if you do hit a bit of a bump in the road on the day, these two won't bat an eye and figure out a way to make the best of the situation. No dress tear is too large, no fire alarm is too loud, Kat and Mike will find and capture the beauty and life of every moment in your day.
Their work truly shines in their photos, our wedding gallery is filled with beautiful portraits, candid fun times, and the moments we thought we missed that we are so happy to have a piece of forever.

Won't find anyone better!
There are not enough words to describe how incredible Kat & Mike are! They are so much more than photographers—they’re calming, patient, fun, and compassionate, and they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable every step of the way. They didn’t just capture our day beautifully—they helped make it what it was. The photos authentically reflect all the love and happiness we felt, and we’re endlessly grateful. We’ll cherish these memories forever!

The PERFECT Photographers!!!!!!!!!!
creative costal photography was a absolute dream. kat and mike understood our vision and went above and beyond. my husband and i tell everyone and anyone about how incredible of a team these two were. they were very quick to respond before, during and after our time working with them. they took notes at every meeting and followed up with summaries, schedules, and answers to any questions we had. they sent us a detailed questionnaire that answered all of our questions and then some! most of all they were flexible with us. we changed locations, timelines, venues and kat and mike didnt miss a beat. they are worth every dollar! every single photo was pure magic and we will cherish them forever. bonus: they kept our families in check and our family adored them both and have been raving about their efficiency and the art they created for our wedding. CHOOSE creative coastal photography. it's worth it, we would choose them a million times over and over.

Five stars simply aren't enough. Photography was the first thing we booked for our wedding, as it was the most important thing to me, and now I cannot find the words to say how happy we are. Our photos are absolute perfection. I keep reliving how magical the day was through our beautiful photos.
Kat and Mike are kind, and fun, and comforting, and they effortlessly run the show. They helped us find our vibe (wanting to create a dreamy, enchanted vibe in industrial downtown Pawtucket is no easy feat). And quite frankly, if they want to be best friends with us, we're in. Additionally, their prices are so incredibly reasonable. They are such a tremendous value, and they will take such good care of you.
I'm not sure what to else say - I've never been so happy with a vendor before in my life.

Calm, Creative, and Absolutely Incredible
I truly cannot say enough good things about Kat & Mike—they were an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. As a duo, they brought the perfect balance of professionalism, creativity, and calm to our wedding day. Not only did they capture STUNNING photos, but they were also instrumental in keeping us on schedule and making the day run smoothly. Kat even helped fix my bustle when it came undone—talk about going above and beyond!

Best photographers for a New England wedding
We cannot say enough good things about Kat and Mike. We found the Created Coastal team through another New England couple who worked with Kat and Mike to capture their wedding. From the moment we saw their work, we were blown away by the raw emotion and authentic beauty captured. We connected quickly and comfortably on FaceTime and knew they would cover our day with care and professionalism and love at the center.
Our day ran so smoothly thanks to their close coordination with our other vendors. On top of capturing the tiny details that we’d otherwise overlook, Kat even did meditative breathing with the bride to calm some anxiety before the aisle, and Mike helped with bow tie prep!
We’ve just received our sneak peeks, just 11 days after our wedding, and we are absolutely blown away by the photos. We are ecstatic and grateful to have their work memorialize our wedding forever, and we cannot wait to share their photos with future generations in our family.

Kat and Mike are absolutely incredible! From our very first call, they went above and beyond to help me plan out my wedding day, offering advice, suggestions, and reassurance every step of the way. Best photography team ever!!
Kat and Mike are the absolute best!!! We first hired them for our engagement photos and we instantly knew that we needed them for our wedding too. They made us feel so comfortable the entire time and made us feel like friends, yet stayed completely professional all at once. Throughout the wedding process, they helped with many questions, gave great recommendations and helped with a wedding day timeline. On our wedding day, they always made sure we were feeling ok and always checked in to see if we needed anything. After our first set of photos in the wind, Kat even helped curl my hair so that it was perfect for the ceremony. They really do do it all!! I cannot say enough incredible things about this couple and their photography. We are BEYOND thrilled with our photos. If you are looking for great photographers who truly care to give you the best day imaginable, look no further. Kat and Mike are your team!!
