You made the absolute most incredible cake that I could never imagine. I am still not sure how you managed to fit an eclipse, a wedding, and a birthday all into one incredibly awesome cake. Thank you for being a part of our insanely special day.

Nika did my mini top-cake and cupcakes for my wedding, and it was DELICIOUS. A good price, and everyone loved the dessert!

The cake was so beautiful and it taste great. The cost was less than I expected. Only thing I wish I should of did, a follow up prior to the reception about the count of the cupcakes. But, other than that the cake was very well make (beautiful). Thank you very much, Nika and George a job well done.

Couture Cakes provided a flexibility that was very useful during my short term planning. They were easy to communicate with through phone, e-mail, and in person. The cakes were nothing less than expected, and I heard multiple compliments from guests.

The Best Cakes/ Cupcakes in Hampton Roads

My wedding cupcakes we so pretty I had 6 different flavors for my guest to choose from, Cupcakes saved me 100 bucks for a cake cutting fee!!! @ The Chamberlin, however it was well worth it and cupcakes are so in style now. I recommend Couture Cakes to any bride, stop in at the shop( Newport News Va) and enjoy a cupcake tasting and the $$ is used towards your wedding order.

BEST CAKE EVER!!! The first time I had the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake at Couture Cakes by Nika, I knew I wanted that flavor for my wedding cake. I was worried that they would only make wedding cakes in the usual flavors (vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, etc) but when I talked to them, their answer was "no problem, we can definitely make that cake for you". My wedding had a rustic fall theme and Couture Cakes by Nika took my theme and my vision and turned it into a BEAUTIFUL cake. The fall leaves and pine cone decorations were perfect and highlighted my fall theme. The icing had crushed up chocolate chip cookies in it, so it had a natural frosted look that again just made it fit perfectly into my rustic theme. The flavor of this cake was absolutely scrumptious! Guests raved about it and we only had the top tier to freeze at the end of the night!!! The cake disappeared from our guests plates quickly and some went back for more :) I would definitely recommend Couture Cakes by Nika to anyone looking for a beautiful cake in tons of different flavors that are outside of the normal wedding cake box and different themes!

We love her cupcakes so it was an easy choice who to hire to make our wedding cake & cupcakes for our May 24, 2012 wedding at the Williamsburg Winery! The staff was helpful in getting the design of the cake and cupcake colors (purple & green) correct. Our guests devoured the cupcakes. We chose two flavors - chocolate with raspberry filling and white raspberry filled almond. Just so tasty, and it came out beautifully!

Worst experience ever! If I could give them 0 stars I would! My mother in law spent almost $600 on a wedding cake that couture cakes was to hours late delivering on my wedding day and the cake that they presented us was lopsided and nowhere near the cake we ordered!!! I don't know who's cake it was but it wasn't mine! And then they say they don't freeze cakes.... Well the bottom layer was so hard to get through my cake cutter just said forget it! It was ridiculous my wedding was held up for 30 mins due to my coordinator having to help him set up the cake! And THEN when you call to try to talk to them about how unhappy you were Nika herself was rude and offended as though she could do no wrong! Her husband was more professional about the situation but Nika was to rude to my mother in law and after spending almost 600 bucks and I also on occasions would go there to buy cupcakes they offered her $60 back and a 60 for gift certificate BACK TO THEIR BAKERY!!!! Smh I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone and I would never use them for an event again! I could go on and on but my wedding was 7/7/17 it's water under the bridge now but it was very disappointing at the time...
