Wasn’t the most pleasant of experiences

From before the wedding- to not having any responsiveness from the ‘on-site wedding coordinator’ to having to call and rectify my block-booking issues TEN times within a month, my guests who had confirmation emails showing up and the staff not having any record of their reservation. We thoroughly expressed we wanted to stay Thursday- Sunday in our honeymoon suite. Upon arriving that Thursday, we were given a typical room and then had to shuffle to move all of our things the next day TWO HOURS before our wedding. While setting up the day of, the ‘event coordinator’ was putting out the water goblets with my sisters and I, she was putting out glasses that were completely dirty, all while
Coming pre-stained with lipstick stains!
During the wedding the coordinator went MIA for hours (not exaggerating) she had let me know that morning she had to pick up her kids at 4:30 and would be back in under a half hour. She wasn’t back til almost 7 and then left for the night a little after 9, leaving my husband and I to have to make sure things were running smoothly. I must say, The food and beverage manager was great, the food was wonderful! What I didn’t like is that we paid for 65 guests, only 58 showed and they put the food away extremely quickly, though there was tons of extra.

We were told to leave our items and we could clean up the next morning. We woke up early to go collect our things, only to find our things had been pushed aside as they were hosting a meeting the next day, so we had to sort through our boxes in the lobby to make sure we had everything (which we did not)
We had the ballroom until 10 pm , maintenance stripped down the gift table , for some reason at 8 pm, leaving it looking disheveled. We then later found out we were given expensive bottles of alcohols as gifts, that went ‘missing’

I emailed the GM with my concerns and was met with an attitude and being transferred tot he event coorindator qnd essentially they all said ‘not much we can do’ and didn’t seem to want to help much.


My cousin-maid of honor was sent the request to leave a review and leave a fairly good review, all things considered and then received a direct email from the GM speaking in a very rude and unprofessional manner about how she shouldn’t leave a negative review since it essentially brings their rating down.


Unfortunately, leaving a review seems to be the only way to get their attention.
My wedding was wonderful thanks to all the people in it, however I was very let down by this venue and don’t want another bride to go through the same headache.
