Treat your guests to an out-of-this world experience under the start-lit sky in COSI’s Planetarium. Create a custom constellation show with our Planetarium Specialist and celebrate your first kiss under the shooting stars! The excitement doesn’t end there, COSI provides a variety of breathtaking settings for your cocktail hour and reception that will leave your guests in awe.

Located in the heart of downtown Columbus, this exciting Museum features award-winning architecture, world-class exhibits, and sweeping panoramic views of the Columbus skyline. Our packages include an expansive menu with elegant and traditional food offerings for any style wedding in addition to full service bars, premium linen, custom lighting, and interactive photo opportunities in our exhibits.

In addition to wedding ceremonies and receptions, COSI can accommodate all your wedding events, such as engagement parties, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinners.

The most unique and fun wedding venue! (Ceremony in the planetarium, come on!)

We had our entire wedding at COSI, and we couldn't have been happier with it! We knew we had a unique venue, but our guests have been raving over what a cool experience it was. Savannah was the most amazing coordinator, and she worked so hard throughout our planning process and on the day of to make our day perfect. Caitlin in the planetarium did an amazing job building us a custom show for our ceremony. The entire staff was so kind - even our guests were commenting on what a wonderful team it was. Thank you, COSI, for helping us have the perfect - and coolest - wedding experience!

Bride here, I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. Everything from beginning to end was beautiful. Lauren and her staff made sure everything was taken care of and the food was delicious. The level of professionalism was amazing and I could not have asked for a better experience. My guests were amazed by the Planetarium and the City View space. Even our officiant brought his office friends to see everything. Lauren was so patient with me and my 1,001 questions. I wish I could do more besides review them here, I've been going to COSI since I was a little girl, my very best memories are of the Planetarium. I never thought I'd get married in it. Make no mistake, this is a beautiful place for any bride and groom to say their vows. Some reviews are upset that the museum caters to children (a clear indication if you glance at the website), but there are adult exhibits as well and all of my guests had a blast! We will continue to visit COSI, and can't wait to see what they have in store for the future!

COSI was the best place we could ever have picked to have our wedding and the reception. Tammy was the greatest to work with. What an awesome place with awesome people. Everything turned out so wonderful and I thank Tammy the most for all that she did to work through the setup of everything. Awesome!

COSI is awesome! The courtyard for my ceremony was absolutely beautiful. They let you take pictures inside the exhibites which got us some amazing pics. Samantha was the greatest, wonderful to work with, made everything so easy! I would recommed COSI to anyone. The food was awesome too.

When my husband and I were thinking of the perfect place to exchange our wedding vows, I came up with the idea of getting married at COSI. Best decision that I ever made. Hands down. From the moment that I spoke with Tammy, I knew that I was in good hands and that my wedding ceremony would be completely taken care of. She was so sweet and so easy to get a long with. Tammy was extremely accommodating and met every single one of our needs. I was highly impressed with her professionalism and her thoughtfulness. She even took some amazing pictures of the day and sent them to me!! When people ask us where we got married and we tell them COSI, they oooh and ahhh over the beautiful location, view, and overall ambiance of the place. Everytime that I drive by COSI I think of our wedding and am so glad that we chose such an amazing venue! And even better, that Tammy was there to guide me every single step of the way! Thank you!!

The service on my actual wedding day was fantastic! My husband and I felt like a true prince and princess and we were served drinks upon our arrival and our food from our buffet was hand carried by servers back to our table. I would recommend anyone to have their wedding reception at COSI- they truly catered it to how I wanted it to be and it was above my expectations!

Samantha was our event planner at COSI and she was absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough good things about her. From the beginning, she was always thorough and organized and answered all of my many questions quickly. She didn’t try to scam us or make us spend more money – in fact, she was usually trying to help us cut costs. With Samantha’s guidance, COSI did a phenomenal job with every single thing they were involved in. Our facilities were clean and set-up well. They helped me think of every possible little thing to make sure everything was perfect. I HIGHLY recommend that if you need a space to hold an event you should check out COSI. It is not your typical venue but it definitely exceeded my expectations.

There is absolutely no city view that compares to the English Plaza at cosi! We had an incredible day that seemed like a dream, our guests were dazzled by the skyline view and the overall fun of having our entire wedding at COSI. We had our ceremony on the steps of the English Plaza, our cocktail hour in 3 of the exhibits and then back outside for our reception under the skyline on the english plaza. Having the staff of COSI was a great addition and our guests raved about the food. Lauren went out of her way to make sure our big day went perfectly. The only negative note we had was that after the reception some of our stuff got thrown away so I would just make it a point to tell them to save everything if you're not planning on having someone stay to direct the staff.

Anna was our event coordinator. Everything from start to finish was excellent with COSI. It's an amazing space that my (now) husband and I have always loved COSI and were already very familiar with the space. They let us do everything we wanted (we HAD to have Progress as our cocktail hour and use it for photos beforehand). They helped us transform a gallery room into a spectacular party. The only thing I would change is having the staff be more helpful throughout the reception. They were great making sure the ceremony was flawless but then we never really saw anyone after that!
