Our wedding would never have come together without Vanessa at Copper Jade. We were married in Indiana but we live on the east coast, so first and foremost, she was the expert on the ground who could give me the scoop on all the vendors. She pointed me in the right direction for the caterer, bartender, DJ, and hair/makeup stylist. She also did all the flowers, and they were outstanding! But my favorite thing about working with Vanessa is that she is so easy going, knowledgeable, and accommodating! I was doing most of the planning myself and I'm a horrible planner! Vanessa was always available to bounce ideas off of--it was like texting with a girlfriend. She's as hands-on or as hands-off as you want. She had plenty of ideas, and never made me feel like any of my ideas were nuts, like when we ditched the wedding party in favor of just us, or when we decided to pass the rings through the audience during the ceremony. She really put me at ease with both her skills and her personality. And she was committed to helping us achieve the wedding of OUR dreams. Working with her was a joy!

Vanessa is HANDS down the best dream come true that could have blessed our wedding. Chris and I paid for our wedding ourselves and trust me...we were "budget budget, cut this, we don't NEED that, honestly we could do without that..." We made sure we spent our money where we needed it to go and refused to let this wedding industry empire run us dry. We were absolutely fine without and against forking over the money for a planner or coordinator but LET ME TELL YOU...I praise the weddings gods that we saw the light and decided a coordinator was maybe worth the little extra $$. BRIDES...please listen to me when I say that it honestly and undeniably was some of the best money we spent on the entire wedding, IF not the best. Not only was Vanessa extremely affordable compared to the ridiculously inflated prices of other planners, but she was absolutely an angel sent from above. We decided to hire vanessa about 3 months out from our wedding and the work she did and how hands on she was made me so upset that I didn't hire her earlier. I think about all the research, the late nights, the hours upon HOURS I spent on trying to find vendors, decor, figuring out wedding etiquette, how the flow of a wedding goes, etc...I could have a good month of my life back if we would've caved earlier! She handled...everything and MORE. Things you don't even think about...vanessa has it covered. Other than her work ethic and thoroughness...Vanessa's style and vision is...unreal. She asked us our theme, what vibe and look we were going for and she literally put our ideas and thoughts into our perfect dream come true wedding. I honestly don't think I could have enjoyed my wedding and had the best day of my life had we not hired vanessa. I didn't think or stress about ONE thing the day of my wedding and there wasn't a need to, vanessa had everything completed and handled. Just thinking back on our day gets me so emotional because it was the best day of our lives and vanessa played a ginormous part in that. We would have paid 3x what we had for vanessa, knowing what an absolutely amazing coordinator she is. Not only is she extremely good at what she does, she is one of the sweetest people I know and she actually cares about her clients! Although she had like 70 other brides at the time she was hired for ours, she made us feel like we were her ONLY wedding and that she was giving us and our wedding all her attention. Coming from a bride who's mom passed away and no one in my family had gone through this process yet, I was so lost and probably asked 700 question, no joke. It's remarkable, I seriously don't know how she does it, but what matters is that she's does it and she does it flawlessly!


I know this post is super extra but I cannot stress to anyone who's interested or thinking about hiring vanessa for their event that she is worth EVERY.SINGLE.PENNY. I just wish I had a review like this to read when deciding because it would have made my decision so much easier.

If I had one take away for whoever reads this it would be...HIRE her and do not even spend one more minute wasting your time on wedding planning when all you have to do is contact vanessa and poof, she's your wedding fairy godmother. I read so many blogs and reviews for coordinators and was on the fence for months. Once I booked vanessa...the weight of our entire wedding was lifted and I was stress free for the first time in our 1.5yr engagement. Your future event will be in amazing hands if you decide to go with vanessa, I promise you.

Vanessa is amazing! I can't say enough great things about her. She is very easy to work with, always great with communication, creative and on point with her vision/design ideas. My wedding was everything I imagined it to be thanks to her. I gave her ideas of what I wanted, and she took them and brought them to life. My husband and I had almost 0% stress because everything from the flowers, to the décor, to the flow of the day was all taken care of. We basically just had to show up, just like she said we would! Everything went perfectly and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

We worked with Vanessa for over a year because we booked our venue 18 months before our wedding. Words can not describe how amazing she was. Every question we had, she would answer in a timely manner and always be the most helpful. She gave great advice and helped so much with the big picture stuff as well as all the little aspects of planning as well. The day of our wedding was ran so smoothly and was literally the best with no issues at all. Since it was raining in the morning, she was ready to conquer plan B on short notice. I honestly could not have imagined our big day without her! Thank you for all that you did for us!

As a videographer, I've seen Vanessa help facilitate several silky smooth wedding days. It helps me and the photographer capture picturesque moments. Recommend for sure!

We had the best day ever on our wedding day thanks to Vanessa! She helped coordinate everything for us and was with us on our whole wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly. We felt so calm all day because we knew Vanessa had everything under control. The decor and venue setup was gorgeous! Vanessa has such a fun personality and my husband, her, and I clicked from the moment we met her. My family and friends loved her as well! She makes sure all details are accounted for and helps to make the day run smoothly so the bride and groom can focus on enjoying the day. I’m so thankful we had Vanessa to help give us the most beautiful and special day!

I don’t even know where to start with the AMAZING service we got for our wedding.. Vanessa was above and beyond anything I expected. I felt like we were planning our wedding with another best friend. She is so fun, creative and on it with all things weddings! She makes everything Pinterest perfect! We are living in Austin and found the barn between both our hometowns (Hidden Hollow Farms in Crawfordsville IN). Vanessa made planning so easy that we were able to create our vision from afar and she made it look even better than I thought it could ever be. Heck the venue wasn’t even finished when we met her and saw it for the first time, and she sold us right there on her and the place! She has so much passion and talent! She’s the sweetest person and was always in contact to make sure I was doing alright and everything was on track both with planning and day of. Honestly, I wish we lived closer because I’m going to miss her!! I can’t recommend her enough! Thank you Vanessa so incredibly much, You’re the best! You made our day sooooo special!

Vanessa was beyond amazing & couldn't have asked for anything better. She handled everything thrown at her with grace & courtesy. We all get so frazzled leading up to the big day but when that day arrived Vanessa just put everything together like it was her own event.
