Keith Horstman attended a multi-cultural seminary for six years. He obtained a Masters of Divinity degree and was ordained in 1995. He has been certified by the Celebrant Foundation and Institute. This is a non-profit organization with the mission of educating and promoting expert ritual makers who celebrate and honor the couple and their personal journey.

Very Personalized Ceremony!
Keith had each of us fill out a questionnaire, then he used our responses to craft the ceremony. He sent the ceremony to us- including all of the logistics of the ceremony- and asked for feedback on it, so that we could make sure that it represented us as a couple and was what we wanted it to be. He was thorough, quick to respond to us, helpful, and very punctual and professional. We could not have asked for anything more!

I don't know Keith personally at all, but I wanted to write an endorsement for him because of the hundreds of weddings I have played, the ones officiated by him always stand out. They are consistently the most personalized and unique. I always leave Keith's ceremonies feeling like I know the couple much better than before I arrived - even if I've already met with them in person. Many professional officiants wind up using the same script for every ceremony and make almost no effort to write a ceremony unique to each couple. Not so with Keith. He goes above and beyond to craft meaningful ceremonies that have even been known to bring tears to this harpist's eyes. If you're looking for an officiant, you should definitely check Keith's availability before he is booked for your date.

Keith does such a nice job of combining the traditions of a wedding ceremony with the spice of a couples unique love story. As a photographer, I love that he does much of his officiating from the side of the couple so they can be the focal point in the photos and for their guests and family. He is very genuine and his professionalism really shines through!
