Classical Cellist is an experienced & trained musician with over 5 years of experience playing weddings.

Whether you enjoy pop covers, traditional classical pieces or even some soul or rock music, Classical Cellist will be ready to interpret & make your musical vision come to life.

Base Price

Classical Cellist's base price starts at $450/hour. For events that are 30 miles and beyond Rowlett, a travel charge of $100 would be added to your final total.

Minimum Time- 2 hrs ( guest arrival/wedding/cocktail hour/reception)- any combination

Included in your charge- a wedding rehearsal, the practice fee, the purchase of a special song for your wedding, selection of up to 10 songs to be played throughout your guest arrival & wedding ceremony, the creation of your musical timeline for your wedding/event, and event fee.

Talented and Professional

Marita was able to play the songs we requested beautifully. She was most responsive in following up along the process, as well as being present for both rehearsal and ceremony. Everyone raved about how beautifully she played. Very easy to work with and most supportive. I would highly recommend.

Play at my wedding

Maritza play at my wedding ceremony unfortunately I didn’t listen to her the all ceremony lol because I was getting ready but I listen her play hallelujah that was my entrance song and was beautiful. Thank you for make my ceremony perfect

Outstanding Musician

An outstanding musician who goes above and beyond. Marita worked with us when we had to reschedule during COVID and went above and beyond communicating with us for our new date. She even attended our rehearsal which is unheard of for ceremony musicians. Her Cello music was heart warming and breathe taking to hear as my dad walked me down the aisle. She is an absolute must hire for your wedding day.

Amazing in a pinch!

Our original cellist had to cancel at the last minute due to covid. With only a few days before the event, our daughter was more than a bit panicked. A quick search for a local cellist led us to WeddingWire, where we found Marita. We reached out to her and she immediately responded. A brief conversation, and we were convinced that she was going to be a great fit.

Marita is easy to work with, and has a great catalog of music, was on time, professional, fairly priced and was a joy to work with. Thanks again for making our daughter's wedding such a wonderful event.

Wonderful!!

Absolutely loved having a chello at our wedding! It’s something I’ve always wanted and Marita was very cost effective and flexible! She has a variety of songs to choose from! I HIGHLY recommend her for your wedding!

Great experience

Marita was wonderful. Super flexible, she learned 3 songs for our wedding and did great. She’s really professional and communicated everything thoroughly. She was a great addition to our wedding and her music made it even more beautiful!

Beautiful music

Marita was wonderful. Took the time to work with the wedding timeline. The music was lovely, and she is very professional.
My daughter wanted a less conventional piece when making her entrance and Marita did it beautifully. Bach Cello Suite, just wonderful. Thank you for helping make their small intimate ceremony special.

Above & Beyond Expectations!

Marita was AMAZING! She was so thoughtful in that one of the songs I had asked her to learn did not sound how we thought it would, and she called me to ask if it was what I had envisioned, where should could have easily just learned the song and went along with what I thought I wanted. She called to follow up multiple times before the wedding, and was very detailed in her timeline. Aside from her extreme professionalism, she is an AMAZING Cellist that filled our wedding with beautiful music and truly made the moment so special!!! I wouldn't hire any other Cellist!!

Amazing cellist!

I cannot say how happy we were to book Marita! She was super accommodating and easy to work with. She took all the stress off and did an amazing job performing at our wedding and cocktail hour. The music was the perfect addition and was so elegant and fitting for our small, intimate wedding. I could not have been happier and would use Marita again!
