Clara did our engagement photos, wedding photos, and special boudoir photos. She's insanely talented and makes the most awkward of people (me) look like models. I can't count the number of compliments people gave her both during the wedding and afterward. She's professional while still making you feel her warmth and making you laugh - and she's got a lot of love to share. To say we are obsessed with Clara would be the understatement of THE CENTURY. She has a born gift for photography and works wonders with natural light. We count our blessing each and every day that Clara came into our lives. She was our absolute favorite vendor from our entire wedding. We will continue making a billion excuses to use her throughout the years!

Loved Clara from the beginning! My husband and I were a little nervous before our engagement shoot but when we first started talking to Clara we instantly felt comfortable. We had the best experience we could have possibly gotten from a photographer! Then came the wedding day.. we had such a huge wedding & bridal party and she remained patient with all of us and got so many shots of us! My bridal party was a crazy bunch and it didn't even seem to bother her at all. Also, It's only been a month since we've gotten married and I already received my photos!!! So happy with them all and my whole experience with her!

Clara is AMAZING! From the beginning she was fun to work with. She took the time to ask what our love story was and what I envisioned for our big day. I always dreamed of having horses involved in my wedding day but it wasn't possible. Clara made it happen for my bridal shoot! I found a friends beautiful horse and farm that didn't have the best scenery, but Clara made it into the most beautiful of pictures. For our wedding day she planned out everything by the minute. This was a great way to keep us on track, and she was flexible when I needed to make changes. She shot beautiful pictures of every detail of our wedding that I will cherish for the rest of my life. She has an amazing personality and truly feels like a best friend next to you on your wedding day. When I needed to vent she listened. When the wedding planning was getting way to stressful, I received a beautiful Kate Spade purse from here in the mail to really really lift my spirits at the exact time I needed it most. There is no one out there who does a better job then Clara! Besides your spouse, you spend the most time with your photographer on your wedding day. Clara is an exceptional wedding photographer. As soon as I looked at her work I knew I wanted her for my wedding and she did not disappoint! First we had out engagement session and this helped us to get used to working with her, how to pose, etc. She made us feel at ease even when we were felt silly or embarassed and the photos came out great! on the day of the wedding she did a great job keeping me on schedule and getting all the photos I wanted and then some! They turned out so amazing it's hard to decide which ones to print! i want to frame all of them! Her staging, use of space, posing... everything is perfect. I can't say enough good things about her. Awesome! I'm from Richmond and looked through a bunch of photographers before I found Clara who is based in VA beach. She is willing to travel all over whether it's for an engagement session or the actual wedding day! From our first phone call, I knew Clara was the photographer for us. She is extremely detail-oriented which I absolutely love. She send you a large packet to compete so she knows exactly what you want photographed for the wedding and she listens to it! She gives great direction and just an overall nice person to work with. She really cares about the outcome but also cares about you on your special day. It's easy to feel awkward taking pictures and posing but she makes you feel comfortable doing it. Finally, the pictures are so beautiful! We have gotten so many compliments on how amazing our pictures turned out! Best decision ever! :-)

Clara was AMAZING during our Wedding Day! She was consistent, thorough and most importantly PATIENT cause let me tell y'all...we had some cray guests and she handled it WELL! It rained on my Bridal Session (Book her for that too!) and it rained on our Wedding day and not only can you NOT even tell it was raining, but her and her assistant were troopers through it all! You will not be disappointed WHEN you book her...I'm just going to go ahead and put that in the atmosphere. She's BOMB and you'll love how personable she is. She's officially fam! My wife and I chose Clara for our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn't be any happier! We have a ton of great photos and they're organized in categories from engagement to day-of-details to reception. I like the organization bc we can easily find the one photo we'd like to print, large scale. She gave us a questionnaire for the engagement session and the wedding day so she could figure out our personalities and what we wanted from our photographer. She definitely nailed it all, and even more. Her husband was her second shooter for the wedding and they were a great team. They both made us feel extremely comfortable. They gave us verbal cues that were easy to understand and it put us in very natural poses and smiles. They even went beyond their call of duty to coordinate with our DJ and help notify us when we had to cut the cake, do our money dance, or any other activity. I would definitely recommend her services to any and every couple. They were a huge part of our wedding and were a huge part of the reason our day was successful and is now so memorable.
