Although I should have done this sooner, what a better way to kick off my one year wedding anniversary by writing a vendor review! Clare was the makeup artist for myself and my four bridesmaids on 1/25/25. She is the exact type of bridal makeup artist I wanted--focused on radiant skin, light eyes, and all over just a natural yet complete look. From our makeup trial to my wedding day, Clare made me feel incredibly beautiful, while still looking like myself. She is very knowledgable on skin types and shades, as myself and my bridesmaids all have different undertones and eye colors. Our makeup lasted throughout the night, and we never once felt cakey, but overall flawless. I recommend her over and over to everyone I personally know getting married in the Pittsburgh area. Thank you Clare for being the absolute best!

I booked Clare for our wedding day, and I have nothing but glowing remarks for my experience working with her. She is such a professional, and she brought such a sense of calm to our day. She was so helpful even before the wedding giving me advice to help prep my skin to look its best. It felt like my makeup didn't move an inch all day either. She was so receptive to making some small adjustments from the trial too. I absolutely LOVED my makeup the day of. I looked like myself in the best way. Also, she did the makeup for both moms and six bridesmaids on top of that! I can't say enough good things - do not hesitate to book her!

Working with Clare at See Jane Blush was such a wonderful experience! From the start she was incredible to communicate with; very responsive and thorough. I initially contracted her for only a few clients and as the wedding became closer, I asked if we could increase the number of clients significantly and Clare didn't even bat an eye! The makeup trial was phenomenal and Clare was able to create a look on the first go that I loved! My bridal party consisted of a wide range of skin tones and Clare complimented them all beautifully. She was beyond kind, patient, and super cool to have around! You're awesome, Clare! Thank you for making everyone look and feel beautiful!

Clare is incredibly talented! She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day and created exactly the look I had imagined! All of my bridesmaids loved her and were so happy with their makeup as well. Everyone really looked like the most beautiful versions of themselves! Her work obviously speaks for itself, but Clare also is incredibly professional, responsive, reassuring, collaborative, and dependable. It was just so refreshing to not have to worry about anything leading up to the day – I knew she would be there, be on time, be efficient, and do a phenomenal job. She was so fun and calming to have there on my wedding morning! She even accommodated my trial for the morning of my bridal shower! I would 1000% recommend her to everyone!

Clare is a magician. She is all about making her clients feel comfortable with how they look and really knows how to accentuate their natural beauty! I have always been ashamed of my skin and lacked confidence in myself because of it (acne, scars, you name it) but Clare was so comforting and made me feel confident & beautiful on my wedding day, while still feeling like myself! I cannot say enough good things about her work and will be recommending her to anyone I know looking for a makeup artist for any occasion!

Clare is the best! I'm usually very picky about my makeup when I get it done but she nailed it. I had a South Asian wedding so Clare did three makeup looks for me, and I loved every single one!! She really listens to what you want and what little preferences you have. She is amazing at tailoring to what the client wants. I HIGHLY recommend Clare!!

Clare was amazing! She was so helpful during the trial and then again on the big day! I asked for sweat-proof and cry-proof make up and she made it happen. Everyone in my bridal party got the same quality of make up, and it never smudged. Despite 80 degrees and humid for the outdoor ceremony and photos and a reception rain storm, everyone's makeup remained perfect. She came to our venue and got everyone done quickly!

Clare was amazing and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. She provided makeup for 8 of us total - across BMs, moms, and sisters - all on her own and ahead of schedule! I loved that everyone came out with a polished but natural look (and she was also able to pivot the day-of and do an amazing 40's glam look for my sister!). I also greatly appreciated her professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility. When I decided I did not like something from the trial, there was zero defensiveness when I brought it up - Clare was instead 100% focused on what needed to change to get the look I wanted. And the day of, when rain forced my outdoor wedding indoors and I answered the hotel door in tears, she was empathetic and gave me and my BM's all the space needed to process / re-center on the day.....even though that meant entirely re-arranging the make-up schedule on the spot. (And did I mention we still wrapped up make-up early regardless? Amazing). In short-- loved the make-up, loved the professionalism, and would highly recommend to any bride!

Clare is beyond gifted at doing makeup. She is extremely easy to work with and did exactly what I wanted. Despite the 90 degree weather, my makeup looked untouched (and I'm a sweater!) I would highly recommend. Even when my bridesmaids decide last minute they wanted something done, Clare was more than accommodating for them. I would highly recommend!!
