Christy and her assistant helped me, my 2 friends, and my mom on my wedding day. I had my engagement make up and bridal trial make up with her as well and enjoyed the process while working with her. Christy made the process really easy and carefully curated the look I want while providing skincare tips throughout the sessions. My photographer consistently complimented on the naturalness of my make up and hair - both were styled by Christy. During the day of my wedding, I was running 15 mins behind but Christy and her assistant still managed to finish all our make up and hair on time. One of my friend accidentally damaged her hair due to improper use of curls, Christy immediately jumped in to help her correct her hair. Christy and her team were amazing to work with. She made sure to listen to my preferences, and created a natural look that looked like my face, but better! Everything lasted the whole night, and didn't budge. She also gave me a touchup kit, filled with q-tips, a sponge, lipstick, and bobby pins to make sure I looked good the entire night. My bridesmaids and mothers felt gorgeous as well. We also asked them so many questions about products to use and their techniques, and they never hesitated to answer and give us their insider knowledge. With our mothers being Chinese/Taiwanese, they were able to chat with Christy and her artists and feel at ease while getting ready. I'm already eyeing the personal makeup class with Christy! Christy and her team did hair and makeup for my Woodinville wedding in August for me and my wedding party. She was highly recommended by my wedding planner, and I absolutely loved working with her and her team. Being someone of Asian descent, it was important for me to find someone who could understand how to enhance my features while keeping the makeup natural and clean. She was also very professional and provided great tips on skin and hair care for the months leading up to the wedding. She had lots of experience with the venue and adjusted the makeup accordingly to fit the lighting of the space. I was impressed with how natural and long-lasting the makeup was. My makeup stayed put--it didn't cake, and I didn't have to touch it up during the wedding--even though it was a warm and humid summer day. My makeup photographed well. As part of the LGBTQ community, I was a bit nervous about finding a markup artist to take care of my husband and myself on our big day. Unlike most her clients, we two "gentlemen" here who had never wore any serious makeup in our lives but wanted to look "good" on our wedding, but at the same time we were worried if we were overdoing it to have makeup on. Through other friends, we found Christy. Oh boy we were so glad she was there help us! Through the trail-out, she discovered our combination-but-more-oily skin type needed more attention in oil/shine control. Right there she taught us how to take care of our skin and prepare it for the big day months before. She checked in with us in regular basis encourage us to follow her recommended skin-care regiments. On the wedding day, she did such a wonderful job that the makeup that my husband and i wore was so natural but yet made us look so radiant on our photos! Even more magically, the makeup lasted & stayed fresh for hours, as if our oily skin had no impact what-so-ever to makeup!! Our wedding was a very modest one, and we didn't spend much but only chose to hire the photographer to capture that every moment of the evening. I am so glad that I also hired Christy to take care our makeup needs!
