Whitney Holmes from Christina Burton Events is amazing. We hired her as our day of coordinator for our wedding on October 8, 2022 and she made sure that everything was perfect on our special day. I met with Whitney a few times in the months leading up to the wedding so she knew every little detail about the day. She also sent me an online planning tool where I could update things about the wedding for her there too which made me feel like we were always in touch. She created the most detailed timeline for our wedding day and made sure every single vendor had it. On the day of the wedding, Whitney took care of literally everything. I have no idea when vendors showed up, when or how they got set up, or anything because Whitney had it completely under control. That meant I was able to be entirely stress free and enjoy my day with my girls while getting ready! Whitney rangled in my wedding party when it was time for pictures, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception portion of the day and we never got off schedule - which I super appreciate because it meant my husband and I got to enjoy every single moment of our wedding without being rushed. From the attention to detail, to the day of last minute asks, Christy and Kaitlin did everything to make my husband, our families, our vendors, and myself heard and taken care of. Whitney came to our rescue and helped pull together a fairytale day that truly would not have been so successful if it weren't for everything that CBE does for their clients. From the online portal keeping everything organized and the consultations and communication keeping our heads on straight - to the day of coordination making the big day run smoothly, they quite literally think of and handle everything. We had a lot going on with a big wedding party, big families, and a little bit of a weekend destination wedding in Brown County, and nonetheless Whitney and her assistant kept everyone and everything in line.

Hiring Christy was the best decision I made in the entire wedding planning process. As an out-of-town bride planning a wedding in Louisville, Christy made the process so easy and entirely stress free. During the few trips my husband, family, and I were able to make to Louisville she was prepared; efficient with our time; and honest in her feedback to help create our vision. Her design eye is amazing - she transformed my venue, which had some unfortunate permanent lighting, to a romantic and gorgeous room for our reception using chandeliers and drapery. She was kind and direct when working with us to create the wedding design and used her years of experience to suggest ideas I would have never thought possible. On the actual day of the wedding, she was calm, collected, and prepared - with rain on the day she was already prepared to run the rain plan, drove my bridal party to the venue so our makeup and hair wouldn't be ruined, and handled all the other vendors without any disruption to me, my husband, or our families. If there were any issues that day, I will never know - she was flawless in her execution of the wedding and managing issues if they arose. My family has hired her again for my sister's wedding because of how incredibly amazing she was at my wedding.

Our coordinator, Whitney, was the most organized person I’ve ever met. She was a force of nature who kept everything moving smoothly, kept our day’s schedule moving along, ensured our families and bridal party were directed to where we needed to be before and after the ceremony, and anticipated our needs. She even amazingly handled when one of the vendors nearly flaked out and we didn’t know until after the wedding!

She was firm but friendly in her guidance not only towards us, but with the rest of our wedding party and family, which sometimes was like herding cats. She also ensured decor was moved from the ceremony to the reception area, which was a distance. Being a hands-on couple, Whitney enabled us to control what we wanted in the day’s planning stages and gave us advice when we needed it. She also helped guide our relative/officiant through her first wedding ceremony in the largest wedding venue in Indy.

We absolutely loved the service provided and found it extremely worthwhile to have when planning any sized wedding. We are beyond grateful for her help and experience.

She was very organized and followed through to the last detail packing up everything at the end of the evening. She was truly a joy to work with and made my daughter's wedding day perfect!

There really aren’t enough good things to say about Christy and her team… we couldn’t have done it without her! Hiring Christy was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day. Not only was she the best of the best, she helped us hire the best of the best and truly created a dream team for our big day. We seriously couldn’t have hired a better team of photographers, hair and makeup artists, caterer, band, etc. without her. Christy’s attention to detail is impeccable. She is very willing to offer you her opinion in the absolute nicest way, as she has likely experienced or planned it and can speak from her own experiences throughout her career. She makes you think of things you would never think of! Christy was always available to answer texts, calls, emails, and willing to have meetings with you if needed to help ease all stress.

We had always dreamt of an outdoor wedding and the whole month we had high chances of rain and Christy worked with all of our vendors the weeks prior to assure the plan B rain plan was a go without running it by me so I didn’t stress… all I had to do was show up! She seriously thinks of everything! We got to enjoy every bit of our weekend and not worry about when everything would be set up and delivered. Christy also made all of my floral arrangements and did an amazing job. I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted, told her the flowers I just had to have and she made everything absolutely PERFECT.


We chose to have our wedding at my husbands parents house which at the time sounded easy, but there we so many details we wouldn’t have thought of that Christy so easily brought to life. Christy went far beyond what we could have ever expected her to do in terms of working with our vendors. I had zero stress the weekend of the wedding, as I knew Christy had everything taken care of. I had a relaxing morning of the wedding, while she was dealing with setting the tables, and organizing the vendors, and directing people behind the scenes.

I will forever be grateful for the work Christy did and for making my wedding day exactly what I could have wanted. It was so perfect, we almost forgot it was raining buckets outside of tent!! I have joked that I wish I had more unmarried friends so I could recommend Christy and continue to see her… I can promise you’ll want to be her friend!!! We would hire her again in a heartbeat!!!
