Not only does Christian capture her subjects in beautiful light, she herself is a captivating, kind, warm, joyful light. I first found Christian’s work on Instagram and was awed by her moody, romantic approach, and met her as my nerves kicked-in. Her exceptional talent aside, she has a soothing presence that helped put me at ease in my tensest of moments. We observed as she she worked and she made it feel so simple and organic. We witnessed first-hand how she produces such awe-inspiring work: she captures the essence of the moment in captivating and beautiful ways not only because she’s a true visionary, but because of her tremendously comforting presence. I was so in awe of Christian that even as we recessed after the ceremony, one of the first things I asked Sean, my new husband was if he’d met her. Christian shot our engagement photos. She is so easy to talk to - immediately you feel comfortable and happy. When you want to feel relaxed and real in your photos she is exactly the type of person you want to be around. She was friendly and helpful in how to place my hands and stand to get the best shots, and I really enjoyed having her a part of my appointment (along with my maid of honor and a bridesmaid, and of course Wildflower's wonderful owner, Margaux). She fit in seamlessly and was a pleasure to be around. I just got my pictures today, and am more than pleased (to say the least). She caught all of the wonderful little moments, and all of the happiness that was shared during our hour and a half session. :) The appointment itself, just like the engagement, flew by, and having these images to look back on and smile and laugh about, is so nice. I also worked with her on a boudoir shoot that was a wedding gift for my (now) husband. And OH MY GOSH! Her personality was perfect. My MOH was helping me and her and Christian were just the most fun personalities to where it was one of the best experiences throughout the engagement and SO MUCH FUN! I'm already definitely considering another boudoir with her in a few years. Literally, she is amazing at anything you want captured. Anything and everything!

Christian did boudoir photos for me and they are nothing short of amazing! I'm not comfortable in that type of setting but she made me feel right at home and so comfortable and it showed in the pictures. she is incredibly affordable and worth every penny! sweetest girl, cant recommend her enough! especially for outdoor pictures!!

We hired Christian to do our engagement photos (Oct 2015 at Linville Falls) and wedding (May 2016 in downtown Asheville). Her website and the ethereal, earthy style of her photos really spoke to me. A few emails back and forth and we were booked. From the beginning, she was very easy to work with, always answering my questions promptly. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding!
Although our engagement photos were great, I felt like Christian really shined at the wedding. She was able to corral the wedding party and led us to some beautiful spots around Asheville (she had scoped out spots before which I appreciated, because trust me you will not have time to do this yourself if you are from out of town like I was). I also liked how creative she was using the entirety of the wedding event venue grounds (The Bunn House) for photos. Everyone loved her energy and the groom especially appreciated how quick she was with the photos (we weren't standing around akwardly like we do when my father takes our pictures!).
We had our pictures just a few weeks after the wedding and they were amazing. She offers an online gallery link, so you can easily share with friends and family. I hope to hire her again for family photos once we get started on that route.

Christian shot our elopement in March and completely went above and beyond what we expected. When we officially met the day of my wedding, I felt like I already knew her from our e-mail conversations. She was extremely warm and responsive to all of my questions and concerns and also took a real interest in helping us choose a location that fit us nicely. I can honestly say that Foxhouse Studio was the best investment we made for our wedding day. Christian was so sweet and instantly put us at ease. It felt like an old friend was following us the whole day. We were married at a popular waterfall and Christian completely took charge and cleared people away to make room for our ceremony. She not only captured our natural romance in a unique and beautiful way, but she also had the personality and professionalism to lead us seamlessly through our day. We couldn't be more thankful to have had Christian as our photographer and will treasure the photos from that day for the rest of our lives. Christian photographed my wedding this past October and I couldn't have found a better photographer. I immediately felt comfortable with Christian which helped calm me before the big moment. My husband and I both felt so comfortable when she did our photo shoot which I was nervous about originally and thought it would be awkward. A hurricane occurred during my wedding and Christian came and did another photo shoot for us a week later and we had the most amazing time with her. She is such a fun loving person, it's hard not to have a great time with her! She truly loves her job and it shows through her work.
