I got a proposal shoot done by Chris and it was a pretty seamless process. I have never been to Washington D.C. before and he made the process stress free. He presented me with a contract which made me feel much more confident I wasn't going to be scammed and communicated with me prior to finalize all the details. He was at the location before I was, made it easy to find him, and took spectacular photos. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking to have professional photos taken!

I hired Chris for a surprise engagement photo shoot and he was an excellent choice. He was quick to respond to emails and was helpful throughout the process of choosing a location. Once I decided on a location, he provided assistance on exactly where I should be standing before the proposal. On the day of, he is discrete and pretends to be a touristy photographer. Right before I popped the question, he makes sure that you make eye contact with him so that he knows when to start shooting. His ability to capture the exact moment of the proposal was my favorite part of the whole experience.

The photographs could not have come out better. We have various shots of the proposal, us together after the proposal (at which point your significant other is aware that he is your photographer) and he captured some great staged and candid pictures.

All in all, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to capture a surprise engagement.

Chris was the perfect photographer for our wedding. We wanted something more unique than typical wedding photos, and more candids, and he delivered on both categories phenomenally. We are thrilled with the photos, they capture the day beautifully.

Chris was awesome to work with! I asked Chris to help photograph my proposal. He was super helpful from the start and had a bunch of good ideas for locations he had already shot proposals at, which was great for me since I needed all the help I could get. On the day of the proposal, he was very flexible with us as we had some last minute time changes. He also got back to us with the pictures really quickly, giving us some pictures immediately afterwards. Couldnt recommend him any more highly for engagements or weddings!

Working with Chris was an absolute joy! He was very responsive and thoughtful about the planning and execution of our surprise engagement. The photos were absolutely perfect with a great mix of some candids and posed ones. I felt totally at ease with him behind the camera and could focus on enjoying the moment with my fiancé!

Chris was great to work with. We had a lot of moving parts. Getting ready at the hotel, ceremony at a church and then a reception at another location. Chris and the second-shooter Devon were great with all the details and logistics. They captured fantastic candids of our guests, which was a top priority for us!

Chris photographed our wedding and engagement shoot in May - my husband and I could not be happier with the results. He perfectly captured family portraits, the ceremony, and perfect / accurate candid shots throughout the party. There are so many gems.
He also helped us navigate the venue to ensure the photos would be perfect in the moment, and reviewed our planners schedule to make sure all the timings would work with photos

Chris was a fantastic photographer to work with and capture my big surprise proposal! He was very responsive and very flexible to handle any requests I had. We got the first pass of the "main" photos within a couple hours of the proposal and they turned out incredible. I can't be happier with how everything turned out and I highly recommend Chris to anyone for surprise proposals! He had countless ideas to capture multiple angles and back drops of our mini photo shoot and set us up for the perfect shot. All in all, very incredibly pleased with Chris.

Chris captured our small wedding amazingly! The wedding was just close family, but we still wanted amazing pictures. Chris really delivered! Our pictures are gorgeous, and I couldn’t be happier. He was very flexible and extremely responsive to emails. He made sure everything went smoothly the day of. The quality of his work was great and extremely reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone getting married in the DC area.

My husband and I recently lost a ton of weight and were able to fit back into our wedding tuxedos. We hired Chris to capture some fun moments of us at our original wedding venue and some other spots around town.

Once at our wedding venue (DAR), Chris captured us at our best. He focused on all the best angles, lighting, background, etc. Chris made us look better than we did on our wedding day! Man, we wish we hired him almost 6 years ago!

We even brought our dog along for the photo shoot and Chris made sure to capture our pup in just the right light so he could shine too!

We jumped around town to other locations and Chris was able to adapt to the location, figure out what would work for the picture. He was quick and he was exact. Chris was professional and able to provide suggestions on poses, backdrops etc.

Chris was responsive whether it be email, phone or text. A breeze to work with! He teased us with a couple of photos before sending us the entire finished portfolio of pictures from our photo session and we knew then we’d have great photos. Again, I wish we had met Chris years ago because our wedding photos would have been 100x times better.

My fiancé and I found Chris Ferenzi photography after a thorough web search. We liked his style and I was immediately drawn to his work. When I look at his photos I see a fresh perspective; crisp, clean pictures that look real and in the moment.

I emailed Chris’ about his service and availability on a late Friday afternoon and he responded in less than two hours! Prior to booking our wedding date, Chris and I spoke over the phone for about an hour. I gave him our background “story,” what we were looking for in a photographer, and of course what type of final products we wanted. I was undecided about how many actual pictures to purchase and if we should order a book, etc., and Chris help walked me through the options and let me make decisions along the way. I greatly appreciated his flexibility and patience.

We truly enjoyed working with Chris and we love the final product. His website is simple to use, even my 85 year old mother-in-law easily navigated her way through it to order the photos she wanted. Chris and I are now working on an album and I’ll be ordering a few wall hangings from his site too.
