Engagement Photo Shoot
Chris was awesome to work with! I asked Chris to help photograph my proposal. He was super helpful from the start and had a bunch of good ideas for locations he had already shot proposals at, which was great for me since I needed all the help I could get. On the day of the proposal, he was very flexible with us as we had some last minute time changes. He also got back to us with the pictures really quickly, giving us some pictures immediately afterwards. Couldnt recommend him any more highly for engagements or weddings! -

Chris was great to work with. We had a lot of moving parts. Getting ready at the hotel, ceremony at a church and then a reception at another location. Chris and the second-shooter Devon were great with all the details and logistics. They captured fantastic candids of our guests, which was a top priority for us! -

My fiancé and I found Chris Ferenzi photography after a thorough web search. We liked his style and I was immediately drawn to his work. When I look at his photos I see a fresh perspective; crisp, clean pictures that look real and in the moment.
I emailed Chris’ about his service and availability on a late Friday afternoon and he responded in less than two hours! Prior to booking our wedding date, Chris and I spoke over the phone for about an hour. I gave him our background “story,” what we were looking for in a photographer, and of course what type of final products we wanted. I was undecided about how many actual pictures to purchase and if we should order a book, etc., and Chris help walked me through the options and let me make decisions along the way. I greatly appreciated his flexibility and patience.
We truly enjoyed working with Chris and we love the final product. His website is simple to use, even my 85 year old mother-in-law easily navigated her way through it to order the photos she wanted. Chris and I are now working on an album and I’ll be ordering a few wall hangings from his site too.

Working with Chris was an absolute joy! He was very responsive and thoughtful about the planning and execution of our surprise engagement. The photos were absolutely perfect with a great mix of some candids and posed ones. I felt totally at ease with him behind the camera and could focus on enjoying the moment with my fiancé!

Tiny wedding
Chris captured our small wedding amazingly! The wedding was just close family, but we still wanted amazing pictures. Chris really delivered! Our pictures are gorgeous, and I couldn’t be happier. He was very flexible and extremely responsive to emails. He made sure everything went smoothly the day of. The quality of his work was great and extremely reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone getting married in the DC area. -

We originally planned a small 20 person wedding that happened to coincide with the beginning of the pandemic, so we needed to modify our plans more than once. Chris was really flexible and made a somewhat stressful time to plan a wedding a lot easier. The pictures turned out soooo beautifully and perfectly captured some really special moments. We would definitely recommend hiring Chris!

Chris is an excellent wedding photographer! He met with us well before the wedding to go over planned shots and offered a variety of packages so that we could pick one that best fit our needs. Chris was also readily available to answer any questions we had leading up to the wedding and responsive during the wedding day itself. During the ceremony and reception, Chris managed to capture every important moment of the day/night on camera, but somehow I don’t remember seeing him anywhere other than when we took planned shots. He has maxed out his photographer ninja skills. His photographic talents themselves are equally impressive. He provided us with hundreds of very high quality photos that truly represented the beauty and fun of our wedding day. The photos were fully edited and made available to us via an easy to use online gallery within 6 weeks (as promised). Given the quality of his work, his prices were very reasonable. In addition to all of this, he’s a pleasure to work with, has a great sense of humor, and even threw in a very thoughtful free gift for us. I can’t recommend Chris more highly. If you need a wedding photographer, book him now. Psst...he does events too! Randomly ran into him doing the photography at a national psychologist conference that I attended in DC. This guy is a legit talent. -

Working with Chris was very easy and the shots turned out perfectly. I had a proposal planned at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and wanted to surprise my (now) fiancé. Chris helped me figure out where to be to get the best shot while planning the proposal. He also had a series of photos planned after my family popped out of the bushes! Would definitely hire again for, but hopefully not for a proposal lol. -

Wow what a great memory capturer! Chris does more than take pictures, he really captures the moment and the emotions packed all in pictures! Not only did he capture the wedding, he also set a time and did our engagement photos as well, which turned out specatuar. Chris is great navigating the ceremony and not being in the way while making sure he's there for every special moment!! If you aren't using Chris you're missing out! He works great with Julie Park at Birch Event & Design, we would say we would use him again, but hopefully under different event conditions lol! -

Above and beyond expectation
My partner and I recently got married in DC and were having a hard time finding a photographer because we are originally from New York. We did our research and found Chris Ferenzi and we were beyond happy with the end result.
The price was reasonable and the end result was breathtaking. I could not love our photos any more than I do. He also shot different angles and different distances which gave us such an array of different photos to display beautifully. Our photos are literally breathtaking and exceeded our expectations.

We hired Chris for our wedding in Washington, DC. From the start, he was great to work with, professional, and created amazing pictures. Chris told our story, from engagement to wedding day and we could not be happier for all of his amazing work.
Chris was nice, easy-going, and organized. He was thoughtful on ways to capture our love and our event with his experience. People at the wedding said that they barely even noticed him there - in a good way!

My wife and I got married at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA and were hoping to find a photographer who could capture the space but also our personalities and love for dancing in the wedding photos. We knew right from the first consultation Chris was going to be the perfect fit! He was super responsive, a consummate professional, and clearly respected in the industry (both or florist and DJ were thrilled he was our photographer!) The day of our wedding it was raining, but when we arrived at the Torpedo Factory for pre-wedding photos, Chris had already scouted out several locations around the space. Our photos came out amazing and truly captured the event, our guests, and the dancing! We've received so many compliments on how the photos came out and couldn't be happier with having Chris as our photographer. His attention to detail and ability to capture moments is second to none. Would definitely use him again and recommend to anyone - one of the easiest and least time intensive decisions in the wedding planning process for us!

Caitlin Sent on 09/21/2018Working with Chris was incredibly easy and fluid for my wedding photography. I felt included in his planning, and the photos themselves turned out amazingly. The hotel we used caused me to lose almost 90 minutes of photography time (totally unrelated to Chris or his work) but he remained calm and did a great job bridging the time gap in my photos. We used him for an engagement and wedding shoot, and a second shooter Andrés for the wedding which was a fantastic idea to capture both of us getting ready and multiple angles during everything else. He used the small spaces we had for the ceremony well, and I am very happy with my pictures. I highly recommend him!

Chris was amazing. He took a lot of good photos and was very responsive the whole time leading up to the surprise proposal. I ran late but Chris was nice enough to stay late so we could get the photos. -
