Chris Brodell is a natural light, wedding photographer based out of Portland, Oregon who serves couples all throughout the Pacific Northwest. He has over 10 years of professional experience photographing engagements, weddings, and elopements. He'll use a candid and photojournalistic style to capture timeless images that you’ll be able to enjoy for years to come. Chris Brodell looks forward to sharing in your special day, and capturing images that are full of light, love, and vivid colors.

Services Offered
Chris considers it an honor to be your wedding photographer, and will do everything in his power to tell your love story authentically. He prides himself on being friendly, easy to work with, and flexible. His goal is to make sure your day is as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Chris’s starting wedding packages include six to eight hours of coverage, one photographer, and an online shareable gallery complete with unlimited, edited, high-resolution downloads with full printing rights. You'll also have access to unlimited consultations and planning assistance leading up to your big day. Additional services include, but are not limited to:

Best decision other than saying “I do”

Chris shot both our engagement session and wedding recently and he was incredible. He went above and beyond to ensure we got all the shots we wanted, he communicated well throughout the entire time we worked with him, and he made us feel at ease in front of the camera and gave great direction, as well. We are extremely happy with our photos just want to be friends with him now!

Beautiful Wedding Photography!

Chris was amazing to work with! Leading up to our wedding day, Chris provided guidance to selecting the best location in Canon Beach for our ceremony. He was always up for a quick chat or email response on anything we needed more information about.

On the day of he provided support, kindness and insight, which helped keep the calm flow of our small wedding. Ultimately he captured BEAUTIFUL wedding day photography, that we will enjoy forever.

In short, he's talented and amazing to work with. Definitely book him for your photography needs!

Cannon Beach Wedding

Chris was our photographer for our April Cannon Beach wedding and he was absolutely amazing! He provided us with so may helpful tips and location ideas leading up to the event, and was such a pleasure to work with throughout! We felt comfortable with Chris right from the beginning, and he helped us to feel relaxed and effortless in front of the camera. His photos were the perfect mix of artsy, candid shots along with formal portraits. He captured countless sweet, intimate moments throughout our special day that we are so thankful we can look back on for years to come. We would love to work with him again in the future!

AWESOME! We loved working with Chris!

We loved Chris! He took our wedding photos. They were authentic, beautiful, and just well done! Chris gave us a nice combination of portraits and candids. He is kind, easy to work with, and paid attention to the details. For example, he cut off a tag that was hanging on some string lights in a background. He managed to be in about 20 places at once in our wedding, and captured every magical part of our day. He nailed it and hope we will need him in the near future to capture more joyful moments in our lives.

Beautiful destination photoshoot!

We teamed up with Chris for our fifth year anniversary photos. We appreciated the prompt communication with Chris about meeting times and expectations. Our photoshoot went smoothly because of his preparations and and location scouting. He made us feel comfortable taking photos together and gave good direction on posing. I love that he uses natural lighting in his photography style. We got some amazing sunset photos because of that! We are glad to have found him for our anniversary shoot and now have photos we will cherish for many years to come!

Incredible photographer and wonderful to work with!

We hired Chris to photograph our wedding, and are so happy with our decision! He’s an excellent communicator, made the formal photo shoot process painless (even for my husband, who hates getting his picture taken), and captured a ton of great candid shots. He arrived early, was helpful in deciding the best options for lighting/ backdrops, and gracefully corralled my large extended family. He was a joy to share our wedding with, and we will cherish his photos for years to come!

Great Engagement Photos

My fiancé and I had our engagement photos taken by Chris and we couldn't be more pleased! The photos themselves turned out beautifully, capturing our personalities and the beautiful scenery and lighting that was on the beach. Chris knew about a part of Cannon beach area that I didn't even know about and it was perfect for taking the photos, not a lot of people and opportunity for multiple location looks. We were nervous because we had never had professional photos taken together and he made us feel comfortable and we had fun. He edited and got the photos back to us in the timeframe he said he would which was great because we used them for our save the dates, the only problem was it was difficult to chose from so many great photos. Chris' partner Jenny even held our dog's leash which we took photos she wasn't in (and all of our coats), and we got to have our dog in some photos as well:) Thanks again Chris and Jenny!
