We were thrilled to use Chesterton Cake Shoppe as our wedding cake vendor. Our cake was a beautiful work of art, but more importantly, it tasted so delicious. We couldn't have been happier with our white wedding cake with buttercream frosting. We got so many compliments on the flavor and can't wait to try the cake again on our first anniversary! I am sad to report this venue no longer exists, but the baker and owner of the shop has merged with another cake vendor in Valparaiso, Nancy's Cake Appeal. Please do give them a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I love cake. I mean, I really love cake. So, when my husband and I got engaged, I took cake tasting very seriously. It was critical, in my mind, to have a beautiful cake that was DELICIOUS. And that is exactly what I got at the Chesterton Cake Shoppe. My wedding cake was exactly what I had hoped for and was delicious! We received many, many compliments on our cake. I could not recommend Chesterton Cake Shoppe more!

Chesterton Cake Shoppe is a small, quaint little location in downtown Chesterton. When meeting with them to make our wedding cake, they offered various tastings and worked with our budget very well. Their cake tastes divine! All of our guests loved it. I highly recommend this place.

Chesterton Cake Shoppe made my daughter's wedding cake. It was absolutely beautiful!! My daughter and her now husband chose marble and pink champagne for their cake flavors and they were delicious! Many compliments were received.
Tracy is great to work with and she will do just about anything you want. Her shop also does cupcakes, cookies, bars, etc. and they are all fantastic! They make great gifts and the presentation is always very attractive.

I was referred to Chesterton Cake Shoppe by many of my friends. My fiance and I had our cake tasting (free with the leftovers!) and had a great experience. They were able to answer all our questions and gave us some time alone to discuss the options. The cake was delicious which made our decisions even harder. I would recommend this shoppe to anyone looking for dessert for any event!
