Chateau Mariposa is a micro-wedding venue (hosts up to 50 guests) located in Brooksville, Florida. This beautifully-appointed property is a Mediterranean-style country home set on two and a half wooded acres. A peaceful oasis that is newly renovated for guests and close to contemporary amenities, these inviting premises make a wonderful backdrop for joyful festivities.

Facilities and Capacity

Chateau Mariposa is surrounded by pastoral countryside with both farm animals and local wildlife, along with the beauty of spring-fed waters. Manatees are likely in these springs from November through April, as the waters remain at a constant 72-74 degrees. The gardens have beautiful blooms at all times of the year, and a custom-crafted pergola proudly stands in the midst of the backyard area. This signature feature of the property has been handcrafted from towering pines harvested on the property and makes a stunning centerpiece for a couple's special celebration. Lovebirds can exchange their vows in this magnificent setting that is truly meaningful. Inside the country home, rich flooring and heavy, dark wood beams balance and ground the event space. Careful attention to detail is clear in the soft textures, light-filled spaces, and airy ambience, inviting couples and their loved ones to share a magical experience.

We find, more often than not, that Chateau Mariposa is the place the bride goes to BEFORE the place she goes to, to say I DO! Check out "Mariposa Moments" for the Girls, Glitz & Glam moments before the big day! Of course, we host wedding ceremonies, elopements and receptions for up to 50 guests. These premises also facilitate other celebrations such as engagement parties, showers, and rehearsal dinners. The staff offers event cleanup and the use of on-site accommodations, get-ready rooms, WiFi, and outside vendors. Additionally, event rental items are available, including chairs, tables, linens, drapery, and lighting.
