I worked with Kenny at the Center for History in South Bend for our wedding ceremony venue. I have loved this location and knew I wanted to be married here one day. I got married in June, the flowers and gardens looked wonderful! Kenny was very easy to work with, we communicated mainly via email and a few meetings. I would highly recommend CFH!

We had a hard time getting a hold of the wedding guy, Ken Cencelewski, but once we did, it was fine. The location is GORGEOUS, and we got lots of compliments - not just from guests, but also people who couldn't come but saw the pictures. They also had dressing rooms, and a room for the caterers, and fridge. We liked having the tent, though they do make you rent it from their preferred vendor (Burns Rental). Pretty much everything else they let you pick for yourselves, which was great, because we saved A LOT of money shopping around (over $2,000 by my count).
We had our wedding in the garden, but you should be prepared to have it inside. It was raining the morning of our wedding, so we had the rehearsal indoors. It cleared up in time to have it outside, but I learned you should take into consideration the "Plan B" location. The Center for History's "Plan B" has a really pretty open area with balcony and spiral staircase in front of picture windows. Very pretty, but standing room only.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
