Center Weddings & Events

The YLCC staff was very easy to work with, and the location was a wonderful venue for our reception. I highly recommend it and the catering, as well! Delicious! There was ample parking, great space in the room, and the staff was awesome and so friendly. Thank you!

Our wedding reception at the Yorba Linda Community Center was picture perfect! 

The entrances to the Center are grand. The patio where we had the bar set up worked smoothly. People enjoyed being outside, and the views from the patio are just wonderful  with long expanses of green lawn.

Holly Hamilin was a dream to work with. She's an expert having done receptions many times. She met with us early on to give us information and know what to expect. We met with her another time, and she took my calls whenever I needed to discuss decisions or ask questions.  Holly is very professional and takes charge in a calm, quiet, and sure way.

The food was so delicious. Catering was done through Black Gold Golf Club and was prepared on the premises of the Community Center.  We had many raves about the food. I appreciated Holly's guidance on food selection. She knew from past receptions what entrees people liked best.  We were so glad we went with the glazed tri-tip and the sole with lemon and capers as the main course. I liked that the food was made on the premises 

I gave Holly centerpieces I had made, plus fairy lights, silk rose petals, floor spotlights, and pink lights on chords. She put them up on the day of the receptions and she created such a lovely, charming atmosphere in the room. It made a huge difference. 

We had ample room for our First Dance and for people to get up and make speeches with our champagne toasts. 

Holly had a lovely table for our beautiful cake which she surrounded with rose petals. After we cut the cake, one of the servers cut and distributed the cake slices. 

Patrick and I were delighted we found this venue and Holly. Everything worked out extremely well. 

Our experience with Wendy, the Coordinator, was wonderful! She was very sweet, helpful, and always responsive to any and all questions, or concerns. The food was amazing and the staff was courteous and professional. Thank you Wendy for all you did to make our day special and free us to really just enjoy the day and leave the details to you.

Wendy Herckt is AMAZING! She was so on top of everything and was able to perfectly capture everything I wanted for my wedding. My special day would NOT have been as beautiful as it was without her. The food was amazing, the decorations were amazing, and she provided some spectacular recommendations for other services. Center Catering was an absolute dream to work with for my wedding in April 2018. Wendy, the coordinator, is the best in the business. She was extremely professional, prompt and encouraging. She replied to every single email I ever sent with lightening fast speed, even if my questions were silly, and provided me with great feedback I. She made the whole planning process smooth and easy (as easy as planning a wedding can be!). On the day of the wedding, the food was amazing, the staff was courteous and professional, and the room decor was beautiful! Wendy and her staff made my wedding day memorable in the best possible way! Center Catering was fantastic. And spending an extra $300 to have Wendy be our day of coordinator was the BEST decision my husband and I ever made for our wedding! She was not only there to execute on the big day, she was with us every step of the planning process. I cannot thank ber enough for her services!

Wendy and her team were fantastic to work with. From our first meeting, Wendy was very sweet and accommodating. She had great suggestions and worked with us in our unique situation. On the day of, each one of their staff members was efficient and extremely helpful. The service and the food was great!

I can't begin to tell you how pleased my husband and I are with using Center Catering for our wedding. Wendy (who we also ended up with using at our "Day of Coordinator") was so helpful, and extremely prompt when it came to answering the many questions I had. She made sure our reception space was picture perfect, and that everything was moving smoothly.
I should also mention that the food is SO GOOD! After we had gone in for a tasting, we couldn't wait for the wedding just so we could have the food again. Center Catering was also so amazing when it came to making sure our menu was mostly Gluten Free, and provided alternative options for the items that weren't. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Wendy Herckt was our Event Host (Day of Coordinator) for our Wedding Day. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so helpful! She not only was important to help us with our layout of our big day, but also helped our DIY wedding be the best it could be with her expertise and knowledge of our venue. The day of, Wendy worked diligently to make our day so memorable. This is an incredible opportunity and I would highly recommend using Center Catering for their Event Host services.
