Centennial station is truly a hidden gem. I can't even express how happy I am with how our reception turned out. Everyone kept saying how beautiful it was and that it had so much character. We had a good experience working with all of the people at centennial, and I would definitely suggest it to other people. It's so reasonably priced and they include a lot of decorations. We saved hundreds of dollars by being able to use their mason jars and mirrors for our centerpieces! So perfect for our special day and we couldn't be lore thankful!

We planned our wedding from states other than NC. We booked the venue without seeing it first hand. The photos on their website are very accurate. They were more than accommodating for all of our requests.

I had my reception at Centennial Station. It was a beautiful space with great staff. Everything was executed very nicely and how I asked. I loved how they provided the drinks, linens, and any decorations that you requested. They made sure everything was perfect. It was the perfect space for such a perfect day and I would recommend it to anyone.

Nightmare coordinator. Many things we were promised at booking by Sarah, Lesley, her replacement refused to provide (servers, speakers, etc). She told me not to hire a coordinator as she would be more than enough. She was given a written timeline of the wedding and our program. We even practiced with her at the rehearsal & the morning of. Yet still, she missed every cue! The music, seating, reverend, groom's entrance... everything. At dinner, she and her staff never put out silverware. My bridesmaids had to help the caterer find it in the kitchen while the guests waited. From the very beginning, my guests were sweating and fanning themselves. She told one bridesmaid the HVAC was broken and there was nothing she could do about it. Later, another bridesmaid asked if we could turn the ceiling fans on. Lesley replied, "What fans?" When she couldn't find the switch to turn them on, she said, "I don't know how to turn the fans on but I can turn the Air down if you like." Come to find out, the air was NOT broken and my guests were made to be miserable for no reason at all. Each time she was needed for something she was found sitting behind the bar texting. She was extremely rude and snapped in response to everything she was asked. This was my experience with her just in the few phone calls and meetings we had to plan the event! But the most disturbing of all was that we had rented (AND PAID) for the venue until 11:00. At 10:05 she closed the bar and started cleaning tables off while guests were still sitting at them. She even took the Groom's drink (sitting on the end of the head table where he was standing). I could go on and on, but the point it this: She is rude, tactless, without class and absolutely should not be in the service industry. All 4 of our other vendors mentioned how hateful and unprofessional she was.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
