When I started looking for a photographer in the summer of 2019, I knew I wanted someone who would not only have vibrant, light-filled photos but would also feel like a friend on our wedding day. Caitlin's work speaks for itself, but what may not be quite as obvious is how incredible she is as a person. Like many couples who got got engaged in 2019, we have many ups and downs in our wedding planning and Caitlin was not only extremely flexible but so supportive through the stress. When it came time for our 2020 mini-mony she was the ONLY friend to witness our marriage and she brought authentic joy to every moment of that day. Fast forward two years to our dream wedding celebration and having Caitlin apart of it was like having an extra member of the bridal party to be your hype-woman all day! You truly cannot put a price on her talent as a photographer and choosing her to be apart of your wedding day will be the best vendor choice you make!

Caitlin is amazing! Run (don’t walk) to her website and book her for your wedding immediately! She was easily one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. Right off the bat, she was warm, friendly, organized, and so helpful. She was so easy to work with from the get-go and consistently a delight! She feels like one of your dearest, sweetest friends. She’s detail-oriented to a fault but somehow also seems so laid-back when you meet her.

She is enormously talented, and I loved her light and bright aesthetic when I first came across her pictures. Not only are the pictures beautiful, but she really captures the essence of the moment. She gets the easy breezy expressions, tender moments, pure joy, and all the beautiful in-betweens on your special day. Her turnaround time for photos is unheard of (so speedy!!), and our whole family and bridal party loved working with her. You want an energetic, organized photographer on your wedding day, and Caitlin is all that and more. No question that this is what she is meant to do with her life. She is passionate about her work, efficient in the shooting process, and chock-full of helpful details, suggestions, and recommendations.

Caitlin is absolutely fantastic to work with! She took our engagement photos and photographed our wedding day. The pictures are absolutely stunning! We love Caitlin more than words can say. I had followed her on Instagram way before I was engaged and was always smitten with her light/airy/crisp photos. I knew I had to have her for my wedding day once I got engaged! It’s just not the amazing quality of photos with her, it’s the whole dang package. In reflecting on our wedding day, I am so happy with how the day flowed and Caitlin was a huge part of that. She made sure we made time for everything that was important to US. We were never behind the whole day. She told us to sit and enjoy some quiet moments (or private elevator ride) whenever there was a free moment, so we could spend time as husband and wife. I am mostly impressed with how she makes everyone feel. She “hangs” well with the chatty and giggly bridesmaid clan, keeps photos snappy and fun with the antsy groomsmen, understands what the parents and grandparents want to see in posed wedding portraits and knows how to kindly guide through poses with those older groups, and is kid-friendly with the little ones! And as for the bride and groom, well, she makes you feel like a million bucks all day long and you don’t even care that she’s around as a third wheel during the intimate first look moments or bride/groom portrait time. She’s amazing and you won’t regret booking her for your big day one.single.moment. We are forever grateful for Caitlin and her amazing talent!

Caitlin was a dream to work with! She not only was exceptionally responsive and communicative, she was also exceedingly professional during our wedding, and most importantly, produced the most incredible set of images we could have hoped for. My husband and I were married May 27th and Caitlin was able to capture our special day. From Caitlin and I’s first interaction via e-mail to our face to face meetings, she was prompt and professional. It is hard enough to plan a wedding, but when vendors are slow at getting back to you or cannot remember details of your wedding that you have told them multiple times, planning gets 100 times harder. Caitlin always had a quick response and provided me with all the information I needed. She was so easy to work with and made planning a wedding bearable. Our engagement photos were last summer at the Monona Terrace. They were SO fun and the images were amazing. Leading up to our wedding, Caitlin helped me make a timeline of our wedding day to ease my stress and assured me that it would all run smoothly. She arrived the morning of our wedding on time and went right to work. She was great at getting people where they needed to be, when they needed to be and help them look natural and comfortable. Trying to wrangle my family and wedding party together can be difficult, but she did it efficiently and gracefully. On top of all of this, through out our e-mails, face to face meetings, engagement photos and wedding day, she was fun and flexible. She never made me feel like I was bothering her, even though I probably was. She never made me feel like I couldn’t approach her with questions. When we got home from our honeymoon, we had a package waiting for us containing a USB with all of our photos. It was less than a week after our wedding. I was expecting to wait months to see everything! I have nothing but positive things to say about Caitlin, our experience with her and her work. We have had so many complaints on our photos already and I will cherish them forever. I would HIGHLY recommend Caynay Photo to any couple!!!

I luckily stumbled on Caitlin's Wedding Wire page last summer. Hiring her to take our engagement photos and photograph our wedding was the best decision we made in the entire wedding planning process. From the beginning, Caitlin treated us like friends. Her excitement for our big day made us even more excited. On our wedding day, it was such an incredible experience to work with her. We knew our pictures would be special because of her confidence, her ability to direct our large group, and her ideas of where we should pose and how. I used candy photography for my engagement photos. We were so pleased with them that we immediately booked her for our wedding. I was so incredibly pleased with how smooth the wedding went. The quality of the pictures was superb and we got tons and tons of them. It wasreally hard to pick favorites bbecause there were so many we were in love with.
