Ian was amazing. He made everyone feel comfortable and was a pro at getting those beautiful candid shots I love so much. He was able to recreate the story of our wedding through his photos and looking at them takes us right there again. They are all gorgeous. Did I mention he flew in from his overseas vacation just to shoot for us? Ya, he did that.

Ian is a pleasure to work with -- we ended up going with just him as a shooter (as opposed to having a second shooter as well) but having him truly spend the whole day with us from beginning to end. He was professional and easy to work with, working hard to make sure we got some wonderful shots around downtown New Haven. During the ceremony he blended right in, which is exactly what you want your photographer to do. We forgot he was there, yet there he was, snapping all the shots. He is friendly and kind, and so many of our guests had positive things to say about him. We had originally found Ian through his work on the Quinnipiac River, but pleasantly discovered he also shot weddings and we fell in love with his photos. We hope to use him in the future as life continues!!

Ian was awesome! A good friend recommended him because he had done such an excellent job with her maternity/newborn photos. He met with me and my fiance and really helped form a vision and timeline for our wedding when we were early in our planning. He was prompt, professional, and a workhorse. We got married on THE hottest day of the year (103 degrees even after sundown!!) and the AC was broken at our reception venue. Ian kept the mood upbeat, relaxed, and did not let the heat get in our way of capturing important shots on our wedding day. Even the wedding party and family commented what a joy it was to work with him. I've dealt with other wedding photographers in weddings I've been in, and Ian was my favorite! He has a calming but diligent energy which is a huge bonus on your wedding day!!! highly highly recommend.
