We used Catalina's for our wedding cake and are so glad we did! After taste testing from 3 other bakeries, Catalina's was the clear choice. Easy to work with and customize for our event, would highly recommend Catalina's for your special event!

We used Catalinas Bake Shop to provide the desserts for our wedding. Instead of doing a traditional cake, we got four different types of cakes for our guests; Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Mousse, Buttercream with Nutella Filling, and Strawberry Pavlova.

What I'm about to tell you is not an exaggeration... there was a LINE to get dessert at our wedding. For anyone who's ever been to a wedding, you know that cake is an afterthought. The fact that people were waiting in line to grab a slice says all you need to know.

The desserts were spectacular. The service they provided to us prior to the wedding was spectacular. Everything was spectacular.

Also, because our wedding was outdoors and we didn't have refrigeration, they worked with us to secure a delivery time outside of their normal schedule.

I can't recommend them enough and I hope we get to eat cake with them again soon!

I think my husband and I probably did 5 dessert tastings before finally stumbling on Catalina’s Instagram and we are so thankful we did. While our wedding cake was already included with our venue, we wanted a dessert station, however everywhere we went had desserts that were flavorless and overpriced. When we did a tasting with Catalina’s Bakeshop, we were blown away. Every dessert was better than the last and everything tasted fresh. They were a huge hit with our guests and the set-up and presentation was absolutely magnificent! It was truly the centerpiece of our wedding. I still have dreams about the tres leches!

We had Catalina's Bake Shop do a dessert table for our wedding after she was highly recommended by our wedding planner. We are so glad we did!! Our guests were blown away by the presentation and the taste of all of the desserts! It was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding!

Our dessert table was "THE" hit of the wedding' everyone was talking about it! All of the desserts were delicious as they were beautiful. Maria Cecilia was very creative in coming up with original ideas to go with what we had in mind - combining traditional French desserts with Latin flavors. She was also very flexible in putting together a mix of desserts to ensure that the pricing was affordable and within our budget.

My husband is French and I lived in France. Thus, we were very discriminating as to the quality of the pastries and the execution. American pastries are simply not as delicate. MariaCecilia/Catalina surpassed all of our highest expectations. From now on, they will do all of our desserts for all of events!

Catalina made my wedding over the top , the sweet station she made for us was the best of our reception!! Was my dream come true and more than I expected, she is very professional and passionate, she even made details with our name letters we didn't expect. Our guests complimented the dessert station and were surprised they even called "a piece of art" . I highly recommend catalina's bake shop for any event, I would say she is the best in MIAMI !! The great experience started with the tasting. Maria was so personable. Not only did we learn that she was trained in Paris, but that her shop was named after one of her daughters - Catalina :). We could not decide on what desserts to try. So, Maria gave us an assortment of flavors and types. Since there was not a single one we did not like, we tasked her to pick various desserts that would fit with our wedding theme.

The day of the wedding, the display was stunning and a highlight of the decor. Once we opened up the dessert table for our guests to enjoy, a line quickly formed and our guests went back for seconds, thirds, and fourths - some never left the table.

We highly recommend Catalina's Bake SHop. People still rave about the desserts to this day. You will not make a mistake trusting Maria for your special occasion!
