Hair & makeup were one of my toughest choices and I'm so, so happy I went with Carsen! I was really concerned about finding someone who could make me look pretty without looking like I was wearing a ton of makeup, someone who could work with curly hair, and a look that would last all day. Carsen answered all of my questions thoroughly and was great with scheduling. We had a super-fun trial where we experimented with looks from all eras -- she's great with all of them! When I decided I wanted to change the look a little on the day of, she went with it and executed it perfectly, and was a calm, on-schedule presence in the middle of the typical wedding madness. Her wedding day team (brought along to do the rest of the wedding party and moms) was also great! On top of all that, her prices were incredibly reasonable. After the wedding, many people were asking me for Carsen's info, which I think is the most ringing endorsement of all! I was just thinking this morning that I need to come up with an excuse to hire Carsen again!

I was referred to Carsen by a photographer friend of mine. When I reached out to her to do my wedding makeup, she was super prompt in her response and so friendly and professional. Before the wedding, she provided 3 make up styles in my trial run and really listened to what I was looking for. Carsen made me feel completely relaxed on the day of my wedding...I had only met her once but felt like she was a long-time friend!
