What a dream venue! The Carondelet was on our top LA venue when we were first looking at where to get married after our engagement, and it lived up to every expectation. The venue is so gorgeous that you won’t need too much decor, and it absolutely glows at night, especially with candlelight! There are so many nooks and crannies for people to go to take a break from the noise and dancing if they need to. And the food! All of our guests were raving about the appetizers and dinner, and with good reason. The food from Tres LA was absolutely delicious and we were so glad that we had the chance to enjoy some of it! To top it all off, all of the staff, especially Sherri and Ambyr, were incredibly sweet and accommodating. At the end of the night, one of us needed a cup of tea to settle a bit of a headache. Even though the kitchen was closed, a couple of the venue workers still found some hot water and a peppermint tea bag - they were so kind and lovely! Thank you for making our wedding so special.

I can't express how much we and our guests LOVED this venue! Everyone kept talking about how beautiful and cool the space was and many of our guests loved taking pics of themselves with the décor. Besides being beautiful and completely unique, the catering was AMAZING. So many food options and they were all so tasty. Sherri and Scarlett were so helpful answering all of our questions. This truly was the perfect wedding venue!

Carondelet went above and beyond and we had an absolutely perfect wedding. I had so many friends and family tell me it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The staff, aesthetic, food, and planning was absolutely above and beyond all our expectations.


Where do I even start? Kayla and Marianne were calm, thoughtful, professional, and friendly throughout the entire process. They have a reasonable timeline and make expectations of both parties clear from the start. At no point did we feel like there was a lack of clarity or professionalism. But most importantly, they understand the event. They knocked every curveball out of the park, and there was a day-before emergency that could have derailed everything that Kayla quickly and calmly coordinated with me on solving.


Our wedding was a COVID casualty, and we had to schedule the event 3 times. Through the entire process of uncertainty, Carondelet staff was flexible, made clear what they could and could not do, renegotiated our contract, and was completely reasonable through the whole thing.


The food was incredible. We did a few tastings with Carondelet / Tres LA and made sure our menu was narrowed down but honestly could have built an event on any of the items, they were all so good. The short ribs entree was an especially huge hit.


The whole culture of Carondelet seems to be calm, thoughtful, professional, and friendly because it clearly trickled down to the service staff. Our attendant was Sarah Lee and she was on top of our needs through the night. The bartenders even made sure my drink had “backups” and that I could get one whenever needed. Our event was served family style, so big platters passed around between guests at the tables. The service staff were hilariously patient with the guests doubling up and passing in the wrong directions.


All of our vendors were able to get in and out easily and we had no issues with them because Carondelet communicated clearly with all of them.


We cannot recommend Carondelet highly enough. We look forward to hosting another event at Carondelet, whatever form it may take.

My fiance and I immediately fell in love with Carondelet when we walked through the doors for our tour. The atmosphere that has been created; is a perfect mix of old school, while still feeling hip. It's almost as if you forget where you are when you're inside. The venue is kept up impeccably and all the decorative touches adds so much charm without having to bring in a ton of decorations or florals. We had 60 guests and were able to make every part of our ceremony and reception feel intimate, but also like we had filled the place with people. It was a perfect balance of the two. Our guests LOVED the vibe of the venue, all the nooks and crannies they could enjoy throughout the evening (hello, fireplace and courtyards!), and couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful it was!

To top it off, throughout our entire planning process, we couldn't have asked for a better point of contact than Francesca. She went above and beyond, helping us with all our random questions and countless proposal changes. She is a delight to work with and makes Carondelet an even better place! On the day of, Jeff and the rest of the Carondelet/Tres LA team was fantastic, as well. They worked so well with our planner and all our vendors and made it so I didn't have to think about a thing... other than getting married!

Working with Hilary at the Carondelet House has been a dream. She has been very quick with responses and answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns with flexible options. We are very excited to proceed with this venue for our wedding!

We held our wedding at the Corandelet house and it was just perfect. The moment I walked in I knew it was the place we were looking for. The staff we worked with Vai and Alex were amazing. They really want to ensure you have the best experience possible. Our guests still talk about how beautiful the venue was. We opted out of the in house catering And that comes with a buy out fee. Over all great place to have your wedding.

I fell in love with the Carondelet House two years ago on my initial venue search. You are able to reserve your date one year prior so I just sat and waited for that moment to arrive. As the year crept along I continued to research venues and compare their packages. Well there was no comparison at all. The number one factor that sold us on The Carondelet House was its' natural beauty. You literally could get married in it tomorrow and your guests would be impressed. The space is ready to go. Once you add your individual touches, the venue really transforms into something magical. They currently have an open house the second Tuesday of every month. This was what really sold us on booking the venue because it allowed us to be in the space while it was operational. The staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. This is a team that does events often and they do them very well.

Carondelet House is a very a unique wedding venue in DTLA. Life.Film had a great experience on one of the wedding there. The event manager of the Carondelet house was very helpful and professional.

From photography point of view the venue has a great zones for romantic pictures and for the family photo session as well.
We really enjoyed a romantic be of the main room!

Really the most beautiful venue for smaller parties! Although it was on the higher end of our budget, it was worth it! Additional decor was minimal, as the venue is beautiful enough. A few floral arrangements, and the place really blew everyone away. Everyone kept telling us how beautiful the venue was.

We stumbled across Carondelet while searching for a venue, saw it first on our stops, and fell in love with it immediately. The place has an amazing character that was perfect for our wedding style. It simultaneously feels very intimate, but is large enough to accommodate a good size party (100 for us, up to ~150). Everyone we worked with was extremely helpful, professional, and earnest in making sure we had a great day. Alex, the site manager, was especially great at making sure my bride, our families, and everyone was taken care of and happy. I could not have been more happy with our choice and can't thank Carondelet & the Tres LA team enough!
