Carmela Blackwell Photography is a Tampa and Lakeland area wedding photographer who frequently travels around the Southeast chasing waterfalls, gorgeous natural light, and down to earth, romantic couples.She is passionate about telling the real love story between two people who have chosen to spend their lives together. Owner Carmela has felt a connection to wedding photography for her entire life, so it seemed only natural to make a career out of this interest. She feels honored for every opportunity she’s given to be part of a couple’s special day.

Carmela Blackwell Photography primarily shoots in natural and traditional styles. However, she understands that each couple has unique tastes and interests, so no two weddings are ever shot exactly the same. The company specializes in making sure every moment and detail is documented, so they utilize second shooters and only book one event per day. They are also happy to work additional hours and travel to multiple locations as needed. Before the big day, couples can schedule engagement shoots to become more comfortable in front of the camera and create even more special memories together. All final photographs are high-resolution and delivered via digital files in an online gallery. Prints are available upon request.
