Gena is absolutely amazing and the venue is breathtaking

When I found Carlee Farm online, I just knew that this was my venue! Gena makes everything so easy, she has a plethora of decor to use so that the planning process is much easier! The barn and property are simply beautiful and everything I had hoped for!

I have loved working with Gena! She is so sweet and kind. She wants to do her best to give you the wedding of your dreams in a reasonable price point!

Gena and her staff do an absolutely amazing job! We had the most amazing day and night ever! It could not have been more perfect. Such an awesome group of people to work with!!!

Carlee Farm was a dream come true. Gena and John (the owners of Carlee Farm), are incredible people.
First let's talk about the venue - it's AMAZING! It's very spacious, there are different options for the ceremony site, and in case it rains there is a great backup plan that doesn't mess up your reception. Gena offers the tables, chairs, even a lot of the decorations. I spent less than $100 on decorations because they had everything I needed for a rustic barn themed wedding.
I bothered Gena SO much and she put up with me like a champ. She was always incredibly responsive, never seemed annoyed, and always helpful. I was able to go to the venue on multiple occasions when other weddings were being set up so I could get an idea of what I liked and what I wanted to do for my wedding.
The week of Gena checked in with me daily to make sure I was doing okay and didn't need anything. Two days before the wedding I happened to walk into Walmart and they were advertising Cindo De May (My wedding was on May 5th), and they had these awesome Mexican Cut Outs where people could take their pictures in the face area. I went to two WalMarts and neither one of them would let me have them. I posted on Facebook and within 24 hours Gena found someone who was willing to give it to us for our wedding day. She's magical!
At the wedding she kept everything clean and orderly, and handled the drunken people the right way. Unfortunately some things happened at the end were two people were left at the Venue and John volunteered to take them back to the hotel so they didn't have to wait any longer. They are a power couple!
Carlee Farm is a little outside of Raleigh, but it's the perfect barn for your wedding, and you get that southern hospitality that North Carolina is known for. They are the best!

I could not have been happier that I chose Carlee Farm as my location for ceremony and reception spot. I liked how the barn itself is big enough to actually accommodate indoor ceremonies as well. We chose to get married at the beautiful outdoor altar, but it gave me confidence going forward that in case of inclement weather we could easily flip the space for the reception. The barn itself is gorgeous, too. Gena and John own a fairly large inventory of decorations donated by past weddings. This gave us plenty of options to work with and also saved us time & money finding every last thing. Not to mention the gorgeous tables & chairs that were included in our package. Also for a Saturday wedding package we were given access to the barn starting noon Friday for set up!

Another huge part of the value of Carlee Farm lies in Gena & John. They were so readily available and communicative. Gena ran the wedding rehearsal like a champ, which was impressive given my motley crew of a wedding party. :) Everything ran so smoothly on the big day. My husband and I will remember how perfect our wedding was forever- a big part of that was the assistance we got from the team at Carlee.

When I got engaged last year, me and my then future mother-in-law went to view Carlee Farm. I was specifically looking for a rustic chic venue that was in the country.

I was scheduled to view another venue that day but as SOON as I stepped into the barn, I fell in love. I instantly knew this was the venue space where I would get married! Throughout the entire planning process, Gena and John were AMAZING. They were so accommodating and made my husband, Derek, and I feel like family.

One of the best things about our reception was being able to eat alone upstairs in private. I am sure all brides can attest that things get so hectic on your wedding day, it is hard to steal away a few moments for you and your new husband. (Let alone find the time for the two of you to eat!) So, I am definitely pleased that Gena had that option for us. I did not understand the value of it until the actual day!

From taking our engagement photos there to the actual wedding day where they executed everything flawlessly, I could not be happier that I chose Carlee Farm for our wedding! I would highly recommend Carlee Farm to anyone seeking a wedding venue.
