Capers Cafe and Catering Company

Capers did an amazing job for my March wedding, which we actually held at their HQ in NE Portland. They paid attention to all the little details that really matter. Lexie is fabulous to work with. She has an uncanny ability to understand what you want even if you don't give her specifics. She provided a beautiful venue, with flowers, music, champagne toast, appetizers, and a great meal for our guests. My husband and I were both extremely pleased with our event. Completely worry free.

We had great reviews from our guests that the food selection was fantastic! The display of the food looked nice (buffet style) and the wait staff did a great job with refilling/restocking and making sure everything ran smoothly. I worked closely with the caterer to get the price per person into a range that fit my budget and they helped by finding less expensive champagne and cutting some quantities to make it affordable for us.

I like this catering company as I think they are fair with their pricing and they also don't tack on all those additional and somewhat hidden fees you find with other caterers, such as corking fee and cake cutting fee. They also didn't put a mandatory 'tip' on the end of the bill, which every other caterer I looked at it. I appreciated this because we were already spending up to our limit on catering costs. I would definitely recommend this caterer, especially with their new contact, Lynette. She is fantastic and very attentive to detail!
