Julie's cakes were amazing!! I sent her a picture and she duplicates it perfectly for our wedding cake. Then last minute I added a grooms cake. I just said I wanted buffalo bills theme but other than that do what ever you want. Risky business considering she's in patriots territory. She did an amazing job with it she had made the bills logo it was perfect!! She cake flavors were all so amazing she has so many it was hard to choose from. But it tasted so good the day do the wedding!! I could of eaten the whole cake!

Julie of Cape Cod Cakes was amazing. She produced 4 different cakes for our daughter's wedding event and family event and each was incredible. The comments we received from family, friends and guests - unsolicited were all ravingly mad about the cakes! Julie was a breeze to work with and as flexible a vendor of all the vendors I worked with in putting the wedding together. She never said no and was always willing to accomodate a special request. She is one very special cake maker and special person. She is HIGHLY recommended for your special day.

Cape Cod Cake made our wedding cake and it was amazing. Not only was i beautiful, the cake was unbelievable. You can not get a better cake. They are wonderful and local to Cape Cod. I highly recommend Cape Cod Cakes. Yum.

Julie makes delicious cake. We needed two tastings in order to sample all the flavors that appealed to us. In the end we opted for a dark chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream filling. The cake was moist and flavorful and received many compliments. I hope we can wait until our anniversary to eat the topper that we saved! She incorporated all our ideas and the decorations were beautiful. She understood that we wanted simple elegance and that is what she delivered. Very reasonably priced, too.

Julie put a custom design on the cake just like I asked for, it looked great and was the best cake I've ever eaten!!

We had cupcakes for our wedding and they were amazing! Our guests raved and said it was the best idea and the best cupcake they've ever had! Cape cod cakes are highly recommended!

Simply THE best bakery on Cape Cod! If you're on the mid-Cape your search should stop here! We should have ordered a bigger cake since we had guests sneak two and THREE pieces each! We plan to order for our anniversary - it was simply fabulous tasting, looking and an all-around superb experience.

This was the one thing that John really had a strong opinion on, so we had a very specific idea of what we wanted. Having had lots of nasty wedding cakes by the big multi-locationi bakeries, I knew we wanted to go with one of the local bakers. After being surprised and disappointed by the service and product of one of the best-known Cape Cod bakers, we visited Julie at Cape Cod Cakes.

Unlike any other bakery we visited, our tasting here felt like we had just pulled up chairs in Julie's kitchen- her shop has a relaxed, non-"shop-like" atmosphere, and she cut the cakes in front of us and served us on nice plates with real flatware and nice water goblets. This of course didn't affect how the cakes tasted, but we were impressed to be treated like valued guests rather than to be served pre-cut cubes of cake on disposable plates, pulled out when we got there and swept away as soon as we were done.

The cake, by the way- DELICIOUS. We had had another tasting that morning (word to the wise- don't do 2 cake tastings in a day, especially if you eat the whole slice like I did) and weren't hungry at all, but nevertheless couldn't put our forks down. Julie had selected a couple of her popular flavors for us and had also specially made one in the flavor John was thinking that he wanted, just so we could taste the exact cake we already had in mind. (We did end up going with that flavor.)

What blew us away was that while her designs are gorgeous and the cakes were delicious, her prices were also the best of any of the local cake makers we were considering! Plus, she is just a delight to work with, and was more than willing to make a change in the design we chose to make it better match our "theme".

Our guests actually ate their cake, and some seem to have managed to sneak extra pieces, as my dad ended up not getting to eat his at the reception! (Not to worry, we were able to give him a piece from the top layer a couple of days later!) John (and I, and some of our guests) is happy to state that it was the "best cake (he's) ever had."

My mom, who was with me, was also so impressed that she hired Julie to make the cake (carrot cake, which is one of my favorites) for my surprise shower a couple of months after the tasting. Had I been aware of the shower being planned, I would have also chosen her without even considering another baker! We couldn't bring ourselves to freeze the top layer of our wedding cake and ate it the week after the wedding, but will absolutely be ordering a fresh cake for our first anniversary.

I could find absolutely no fault with our wedding cake. It was beautiful and delicious and exactly what we had asked for! The owner, Julie, met with us personally so that we could taste the cakes and discuss our ideas. She was very flexible and incorporated all our ideas. My husband was disappointed because we found just what we were looking for in the first bakery and he would not get to taste any more cake. We did end up trying out a few more but Cape Cod Cakes was the clear choice. It was the tastiest cake and the best value, too!
