About
Camino Real Ranch is a wedding and event venue in Dale, Texas, conveniently located between Austin, San Marcos, and Bastrop. Once a fully operational farm, the estate has retained many of the unique features of the 6-acre farm and has incorporated a modern desert twist. Ideal for those seeking something a little different, this site can play host to the wedding you’ve always dreamed of.
Facilities and Capacity
With several indoor and outdoor facilities, couples who celebrate at Camino Real Ranch have endless possibilities to coordinate their incredible event at this expansive property. The Greenhouse is a stunning 3,400 square foot oasis that makes for memorable ceremonies and receptions. This event space is decorated with wagon-wheel chandeliers and a wall of vintage windows that boast views of the nearby pond and grove of mesquite trees. There is no shortage of beautiful plant life and diffused natural light. The Greenhouse can be configured in many ways and can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner or 250 for a ceremony or cocktail hour. The Quonset Hut is a two-story event space that is great for cocktail hours and receptions that run long into the night. This 1,900 square foot area includes front and back patio spaces accessed via large glass garage doors, perfect for overflow and mingling. For those seeking to make the most of the gorgeous Texan sunshine, the large property pond can serve as a backdrop for a private ceremony perfectly framed by two arched mesquite trees. Tenting or a traditional teepee can be erected for outdoor receptions on the 20’ diameter concrete pad. This cool cozy space has ample room for a bar, seating area, or a guest activation. For those looking for a unique ceremony configuration, a circular ceremony site can be set up around the teepee pad.

Growing up I dreamed of becoming a wedding coordinator. I would draw wedding designs for hours and watch Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey on repeat in the 2001 classic, “The Wedding Planner” (don’t let the Rotten Tomatoes reviews fool you!).
Instead I grew up to become a CPA and occasionally revisit my pipe dream until one day life found me at a crossroads. I rediscovered my childhood wedding sketches in some old attic boxes. The spark was reignited, the stars seemed to align, and suddenly I felt right where I was supposed to be.
From the first time I visited this property, I knew she was magic. She just needed a little life brought back into her.
I am so excited to share her with you all. Thank you for making my little girl dream a reality.
The Austin wedding industry has been my home away from home for the past decade. I started my photography business, Nicole Ryan Photography in 2010, and have loved watching Austin flourish and become a nationally renowned wedding hotspot over the years.
While photography will always be my first love, I have roots in hospitality and adore the idea of bringing this gorgeous venue to life. I share in Jenn’s romantic vision for Camino Real Ranch, and we strive to be the place where your love story begins it’s next exciting chapter.
