We found her through friends, went through her online portfolio, and instantly felt the love, joy, closeness, and friendship she captured for her clients – her photos felt like magic, and I got emotional looking at strangers' weddings. Shi's talent and consistent aesthetic shines through, and she's joyful and authentic in every interaction. She went above and beyond to capture us in our favorite places for our engagement photos and ensured we got specific wedding photos we wanted. Shi is fun, professional, kind, detail-oriented, and so comforting – I was instantly eased when she arrived to the bridal suite! She kept us on schedule (way more so than our coordinator) and edited our photos in super-speed so we could see the full gallery way early. Shiloe is the exact person you want around on your most special day! She is warm and focused and the biggest champion – our friends and family raved about her sweetness. Shi is an instant best friend through the happiest season of your life, and we are so incredibly blessed that she captured our friendship and love on our wedding day!

As much of a cliché as this may sound, words truly cannot express how unimaginably happy we are with our photos! We did both engagement and wedding photos, and after getting to meet Shiloe and go through the process, there is truly no one else in the world that could have done a better job. Shiloe was encouraging, patient, kindhearted, and made both of us feel completely comfortable being photographed – which, considering how unphotogenic and awkward we both are, is an extraordinary feat. The entire process was so fun (something I never thought I would say about having my photo taken) and I believe Shiloe captured who we and our guests are, through her work, in an extremely natural and candid way. Our photos came back earlier than her stated deadlines, and we loved every single one of them. That is seriously not an exaggeration – all of them! Since her photos speak for themselves, I won’t continue detailing how amazing they are (just browse her Instagram, you’ll see what I mean). What I will say is how wonderful of a person she is. Shiloe was a joyous, caring, and wonderful beam of light throughout the entire process. Wedding guests were constantly telling us how much they loved her, and how kind she was when working with them. Her attitude, personality, and energy are contagious, and you’ll find yourself more joyful and hyped up than you could have imagined. If she has availability on your wedding day, booking her for your photos is the best investment you can make!

Oh boy, where to begin. First of all, I can tell you with complete confidence that if you’re reading this, your search for the best wedding photographer is over. No really, she is the best. From the very beginning, Shiloe was a ray of sunshine and a joy to be around. My husband and I loved the time that we had with her for our engagement pictures. The pictures looked effortless like we knew exactly what we were doing, when in reality we had no idea. Shiloe was just great about helping us and telling us what to do. Her communication during planning was spot on and the wedding day was no different. She was the ultimate encourager and hype person for myself, my husband, and all of our family and friends. When I didn’t know what to do or had a question, Shiloe was right there immediately to help me. Having Shiloe as our photographer is in the top five best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. I would also be remiss if I did not say anything about Shiloe’s second shooter, Lindsey. She was with myself, the bride, all day and was like another best friend instantly. She handed me tissues when I teared up and reminded me to do things like put my veil on before I walk down the aisle (oops). My husband and I are truly thankful that we picked Camera Shi to shoot our wedding. Not only will we have her beautiful pictures to last a lifetime, but a wonderful memory of our wedding day because of her that will also last a lifetime.
