Another one of those deep south weddings .... invitations are hand written, yummy cakes labeled (not that you're not going to taste everyone of them .... and a funny, sweet gift for the groom, a line from a Guy Clark song ...

A very well planned affair this was:) The bride had every detail in mind and would not settle for less than what she wanted..... A great designer (myself, of course) and a talented crew at a local printshop nursed the elegant do right through to departure of the bride and groom.

The monogram was the perfect little nuance to the menu. The interlocking K and J, the initials of their first names, tell you just how bonded this relationship is, doesn't it?

The groom's gift, a framed illuminated calligraphy piece, a blessing that was a part of their ceremony at the historic church where they were married. The illumination reflected his love of camellias and the flowering vines.... a reminder of the ones trailing the fences at their historic home.
