Facilities and Capacity

This venue prides itself on offering a wide range of ceremony and reception spaces for up to 450 people. For smaller weddings with up to 75 guests, the Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel is fashioned after 16th-century Gothic chapels, and features exquisite stonework and stained glass windows. Following a ceremony in the chapel, couples are welcome to move to the Cypress Room and Ironwood Courtyard for intimate elegance. Weddings of up to 350 guests are welcome to use the sweeping Longleaf Lawn for a ceremony set against the shores of Robin Lake, followed by a reception in the 7,000-square-foot Longleaf Ballroom. The open design and picture windows of the Callaway Discovery Center offer an elegant and picturesque spot for wedding events of all sizes. For the adventurous couple, the Ski Pavilion is set on the lake itself, with a boat for a grand entrance or fun getaway. The Gardens Restaurant and Lawn present fine-dining with a stunning natural backdrop.

Services Offered

Callway Resorts & Gardens can host wedding ceremonies, receptions, welcome parties, and Sunday brunches for a full wedding weekend. They can also host bridal luncheons and showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners. They have their own on-site audio visual company to help with sound systems and other audio equipment. Tables, chairs, and a dance floor are provided, as well as items such as barware, flatware, linens, china, and glassware. Outside vendors are allowed, but they must be insured. For convenience, guests can park on site, with a valet and shuttle service. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Cuisine

The Callaway Catering Team strives to absolutely delight you and your guests throughout your wedding. While they are able to accommodate traditional wedding menus, they can also work with you to incorporate more sentimental pieces, such as the snack you had at the movies on your first date or a themed meal designed around the proposal. Complimentary tastings are provided before the wedding. Callaway’s wedding event menus include samples for cocktail receptions, plated dinners, buffets, desserts, hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and brunch, and serving styles such as buffet, plated, or stations. While the Callaway Catering Team can create a wedding cake of your own design, they also allow couples to choose their own wedding cake or dessert from an outside licensed vendor. Bar services for a cash bar, open bar, or limited bar are also available, and include bartenders. This venue’s liquor license allows a selection of house beer, wine, and liquor, as well as specialty beer, liquor, and wine. They can even provide a champagne toast in celebration of the newlyweds.
