The Beach Club was an amazing, classic and chic setting for our daughter’s wedding. Katie and her team were great to work with throughout the planning and stellar on the day. The balcony cocktail party was a huge highlight. Both the ceremony room (which later became the dance room) and the dinner room were beautiful. The food was amazing. We had many compliments. 10/10. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here almost 34 years ago. Last September, my daughter got married and had her reception here! The staff, the setting, the food, the service - all perfection. We loved coming back to this venue for a second family wedding, and it was even more beautiful than in 1986! The D'Amico catering staff was absolutely outstanding. Guests raved about the food and it was wonderful not to have to worry about that element, as D'Amico is one of our favorites! Kristen made everything easy and always put our minds at ease with any little concern we had. (Side note: The banquet manager found me right after the ceremony and asked what they could make me cocktail-wise; she came back with the BEST Aperol spritz I've ever tasted! So dear!) The bridal suite is truly swoon-worthy, having been redone in the last couple of years. Made for terrific pictures! Bottom line: if you want old-world elegance with a modern vibe, fabulous food and service, and a killer backdrop for photos and for your guests to enjoy, this is your place!

Everything went as expected. The personnel were ahead of their game. Very professional and very kind. Kaitlin did a great job was very organized. Food was great.Everything went very well. I will definitely would recommend this venue to anybody planning for a wedding.

Calhoun Beach Club is a beautiful venue! We used them for our ceremony and reception. They were very flexible with setting up and coordinating the whole event! Our guests loved the staff as well.

I loved having my wedding at Calhoun Beach Club. Although there are some aesthetic changes that I would make (new carpet, more modern lighting), the place has the right classic yet modern vibe that I was looking for. Patrick was wonderful to work with throughout the whole planning process. He was vocal without being rude or disrespectful of my ideas.

The food was delicious. Patrick was more than willing to help me create an Indian fusion menu...and the white cake with raspberry was probably the BEST cake that I've ever had. If you have your wedding at CBC or at any of the D'Amico's Catering sites, do not miss out on the food tasting event.

Beyond flexible is how I'd drescribe them. Venue is stunning, and requires very little decoration which is nice. We had a spectacular wedding, and the venue looks incredible in the photos.

On top of that, the staff is fantastic. 5 STARS!

We had both our ceremony (outdoor on the terrace) and reception at The Calhoun Beach Club (CBC). The attention to detail was exceptional. We worked with Jason Brown-Hoesing and had a wonderful experience. It felt like having a built-in wedding planner and someone whose professionalism we trusted to bounce ideas off of and plan our ideal reception. The venue is elegant without being stuffy (white-washed 1920's Hollywood-looking) and guests from around the country enjoyed the space and hadn't seen anything like it. The food was the best I've ever had at a wedding and the cake was beautiful and delicious. The quality of the meal was top priorty and the food was indeed the most impressive part of our event. We couldn't have been happier with our wedding at the CBC. A gorgeous locale for pictures too!

Rachel at CBC was incredible - we loved her. The space is the most beautiful in the Cities and no one can beat the catering.

We could not have been more pleased with our December 2024 wedding event at The Beach Club. From the start, our coordinator Anne and her staff were so easy to work with, always responsive and supportive and reassuring, which we truly appreciated.

On the day of, everything went off without any hitch or hiccup. Everyone on the TBC staff was amazing and kind and so willing to provide any help we needed.

The food could not have been better, including the Christmas cookies we fretted over which were fantastic! Our guests raved about the quality and quantity of food all night. The passed apps were so delicious and plentiful and exceeded expectations (only one suggestion there is some way for guests to know which items were GF or V — we made sure the guests who needed to know were aware, and they really appreciated the options available!) The dinner portions were huge and all three of our dinner options (short ribs, salmon and butternut squash ravioli) got rave reviews from everyone.

The bartenders and servers were also fantastic throughout!

With a lot of help from the TBC team and our day of coordinator, the reception hall looked fantastic! Truly, everyone raved about the space and what a fabulous historical venue TBC is. We loved the vibe and our guests all loved the « old money » feel of the space.

One particular aspect of TBC that was important for us was that we had three separate spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception, so that no flip was needed. And the auxiliary spaces like the bridal suite (huge and lovely!) and groom suite, terraces, and bathrooms were all perfect as well.

The whole event was everything we hoped for and dreamed of, and we feel that we absolutely made the right venue choice for our event beyond any doubt.

We got married in the spring of 2019 at CBC, and it was a beautiful space for both a ceremony and a reception. The ceremony space features a gorgeous spiral staircase for the bride to walk down and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. The reception space overlooks Lake Calhoun and is equally airy, open, and beautiful. The weather didn't permit us to be on the patio, but there's also a large terrace overlooking the lake that would be perfect for summer months. It's classy, elegant, and modern without being stuffy. Would definitely recommend!
