Delicious and beautiful! I almost didn't want to cut my cake but when we did and took our first bite it was amazing. David and his wife Barbara were such a pleasure to work with.

Barbara and David took the time to sit with us and figure out exactly what we wanted. The cake was so pretty. It was moist and tasty too. The grooms cakes was great they took their time and gave us exactly what we wanted! My Husband was surprised to see a wrestling cake complete with figures and accessories like fire exstinguishers and chairs. They were both amazing cakes. As long as I am near salisbury I will never order a special cake from anywhere else!

I met Cakes by David at a Chamber event (they were doing the dessert) and loved their product. My fiance and I were able to meet with them the next weekend to pick out a cake. We did our tasting that night at the event, so we jumped right into picking out what we wanted. There were plenty of books, magazines, and photos for us to review. We got a beautiful cake, with a fair amount of icing detail, that tasted great and looked fantastic. I will admit, the cupcakes at the event were a little tastier than the cake, but you won't be disappointed. The price was also fantastic and delivery was actually reasonable (we even had our reception in Ocean City).

The cake I ordered was a 3 tier spice cake (fed 150) with an ivory base color and it had fall leaves flowing down the sides and our topper was one of those square ones with the initials and the date. I had not seen anything of the cake until the reception but I had given the bakers references for colors by giving them leaves that were being used to decorate the venue and telling them the wedding colors (shades of brown, burgundy, and dark oranges...very fall), even gave them a copy of a cake off their website with the leaf theme that I had liked. When i got to the reception the cake was pastel colors (pale yellows and oranges...very spring). the leaves had no movement just stuck on there and the topper just had some icing dots holding it up. It was not what i had expected when seeing their other work on the internet.

i ordered a cake for my sisters 18th birthday and even provided a picture i paid 80 bucks for something that did not look anything like the pictured cake and the cake was dry and flavorless! the cake was small and the color scheme was off! Extremely angry and disappointed. I urge you DO NOT get any kind of cake from here.
