Our mini cupcakes were a hit at our wedding, we didn't even get to try any! Jorie was great and met with us a few months before the wedding to let us sample several cake flavors and discuss our wishes. They were delivered and set up very nicely; we were very pleased. We also did a 6in. wedding cake for us to cut and take home and as part of the deal she will send us another on our 1st anniversary. Looking forward to it!

Everyone who came to our wedding raved about how great the cake tasted! I've become a huge fan and wouldn't think of getting my future cakes from anyone but Jorie.

Jorie is amazing! We had our wedding at CD&ME on 4/29/16 we ordered pastries along with a small wedding cake for cutting. Everything was beautiful, delicious and very reasonably priced. Jorie was professional, kind, and helpful and we enjoyed working with her. Our guests raved about the beauty of the presentation as well.

Jorie and her team were a complete dream to work with! They were suggested by our venue (CD & ME in Frankfort), and though we could have picked anyone to work with, we are sure glad we found them! My mother and mother-in-law were formerly bakers and they were very complimentary when describing the quality and taste of Jorie's creations from the very first tasting.

Soon after we first met them at our venue, I called to schedule a personalized tasting for my husband-to-be and two members of our family. Jorie was extremely consultative from the first discussion and whenever I called in from there on out, her staff was extremely helpful, responsive, and friendly. from our first meeting at our venue's tasting event.)

The tasting meeting was so much fun and they made us feel really special! We booked them on the spot. (For what it's worth, they are the ONLY vendor that we didn't shop around for since we were so impressed with their quality and price from the beginning.

We found their cupcakes to be extremely high quality, yet very fairly priced. We ended up ordering a two-tier wedding cake to provide a focal point and traditional "cake-cutting" moment at the wedding, but opted for mini-cupcakes of a wide variety of flavors. We thought minis would be a good idea since fall time brings the opportunity for many seasonal flavors and we wanted our guests to have the ability to try multiple flavors.

We couldn't of been happier with the end result, and it's safe to say our guests felt the same way. We ordered 450 minis for 145 people, with the idea that 2-3 per person would be sufficient. This was Jorie's suggestion and it was perfect.

Their overall display was beautiful...so much in fact that many of our guests took pictures and they were one of the details everyone kept talking about for weeks after the wedding.

I would recommend Jorie without hesitation and with utter enthusiasm. Cool bonus: She'll make you a 1 year anniversary cake tier at no charge.

Jorie is AMAZING! I wanted unique, not traditional, so we went with a huge cupcake tier and a small 6" cake on top for cutting. My mom came with me to try out her cupcakes, and we were in love! She does this awesome thing with filling - instead of it being inside the cupcake, she puts it on top of the cupcake surrounded by frosting. It tastes delicious, looks beautiful, and makes sure the cake part of the cupcake doesn't get soggy or dry or anything but perfect. We had 3 or 4 different styles and flavors of cake and "filling". For the 6" cake, I wanted something fairly simple but classy. I asked for the sides of the cake to have the white frosting knifed (I had a picture, I don't know the technical terms), with a single frosting ribbon cascading down from the top of the cake, and a few real red roses adorning the sides. When I saw it on our wedding day, it was perfect! And to top it all off, her prices are incredibly reasonable!! Highly recommend Jorie.

I am so happy we heard about them from a friend! We went with cupcakes for our wedding instead of the large tiered cake. For our tasting, I wasn't even hungry and didn't have a sweet tooth when we walked in. My husband and I tried 4 different cupcakes while we were there. They were amazing!! I ate all 4 of mine because they were so tasty and weren't over stuffing. They were the perfect consistency, not too dense which happens sometimes. We wanted all 4 cupcakes we tried at the wedding because we could not choose between them, that's how good they all were! We did the gourmet cupcakes that are a little bit pricier but totally worth it. Plus, when you do cupcakes, you get a small cake to cut for photos, which was just what I wanted. I would recommend Cakes and Pastries by Jorie to friends and family who are having parties that need cake! I know I will use them in the future :)

Our wedding cake was beautiful and tasted amazing! When we went for the tasting, Jorie was very helpful. No problems at all!

Jorie's cake are DELICIOUS. I had several people compliment my cupcakes. I HIGHLY recommend. Her cake was awesome, well decorated, and set up was seamless!

The cake Jorie provided was fantastic! Our guests came up to us and asked where we got the cake from cause it was so delicious. We received a complimentary tasting from Jorie in January, where we tasted 5 different pre selected options.We then went through the cake vision I had. After we decided to go with Jorie we confirmed our design and flavors and had until 2 weeks before the wedding to change anything we did not like. My mother in law also used Jorie for a sweet table at our bridal shower and my husband's cousins and the guests at both raved about the desserts.

Simply stated, the cupcakes that we ordered (vanilla, chocolate and strawberry cake with vanilla buttercream frosting) for the wedding were the best cupcakes that I have ever tasted. They were fresh, nicely decorated, well presented, and extremely enjoyed by all of the guests. The price is fair. I highly commend this vendor to anyone in need of excellent cupcakes in the area. As I am writing this review, I am now wanting to go and get some more cupcakes. Thus, the only caution I provide is that you might become dangerously addicted to these cupcakes!
