We ordered cake tiles for our recent wedding. We had chocolate, funfetti, lemon, and carrot cake tiles. They were delicious and a super fun alternative to a large cake. I would definitely recommend Cake Bloom!

I wanted a very classic and elegant looking wedding cake, ideally lemon-flavored and not thousands and thousands of dollars. We looked through a lot of different bakeries in the Charlottesville area, and are so, so grateful we found Cake Bloom. Working with Carrington was so easy and she is very responsive, and they're really reasonably priced. After tasting the flavors, it was one of the easiest decisions to say YES to them. The Cake Bloom team brought my wedding cake dreams to life, and it was one of the most delicious cakes I've ever had too. You really can't go wrong with them!

Our cakes from Cake Bloom were absolutely delicious! We chose the Strawberry Belle seasonal flavor for a small cutting cake, along with lemon and carrot cake (best carrot cake I’ve ever had) as 2 precut sheet cakes. The sheet cakes were just as fresh as the circle cake, while being convenient and mess-free. The floral decorations on all do the cakes were real, natural flowers and added a beautiful touch to fit perfectly with our floral/garden theme. Cake Bloom was also so smooth with planning, coordination, and cake pick up. Highly recommend!!

We loved working with cake bloom! We wanted a small, two-tier cake for us to cut during our wedding reception. We chose another dessert option to serve to our guests vs. serving cake. We purchased their five-slice sampler (each one was delicious!) to make the decision of our cake flavors. We are not local, so they were flexible and waited until we were in town about a month before the wedding to pick up the samples and make our decision. The cake was exactly what we were wanting and the floral additions were beautiful. We definitely recommend Cake Bloom if you’re looking for a small cake for your wedding or event.

Our first tasting was so fun, and we all unanimously agreed on the carrot cake. It was divine. Our wedding cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious. Cake Bloom is hands down the best. Not only was our cake gorgeous with the pressed florals, it also was insanely good. Never had so many guests talking about how delicious the cake is at a wedding. Cake bloom was a breeze to work with. We actually booked them on the later side because of covid and they make our wedding cake perfectly. I still have guests comment on how good the carrot cake was almost a year later! We can't wait to eat it on our one year anniversary, it was that good. Work of art!

To be perfectly honest, I’ve never had an amazing wedding cake before, so my priority for our cake was that it would look really pretty and taste good. We were blown away with how good all the cakes we tried from Cake Bloom were and ended up going with the lemon cake with lemon curd and strawberries (seasonal citrus). Not only was Susan very easy to work with and delivered a beautiful three tiered cake, but the cake was absolutely AMAZING. Even our wedding planner said it was the best cake she’s had at a wedding and many guests commented on how delicious and moist it was. We’re so excited that Cake Bloom has a storefront so we can pick up a baby cake whenever we’re in Charlottesville!
