They are easy to work with- actually driving all the way to DC to do our engagement photo shoot and didn't mind walking all around the city with us. Tyler is an incredibly talented photographer!! if you're worried about being awkward in front of the camera like we were, I would highly recommend doing an engagement session with Tyler. He helped us relax, took time to get to know us and was a great guide and teacher when it came to posing. Tyler took the time to talk with us about what we wanted and we even did it over a glass of wine at our venue! We have a lot of family and he made the best recommendations on how to get everything fit into our timeline. In addition to the ease of working with Tyler, his photos are just stunning. I am very critical of myself and rarely like a picture of myself, but with Tyler, I love them all!! I opened the first picture preview that he sent to us immediately after the wedding and I cried, it was beautiful and it captured our happiness and how I felt that day. He captured me and my husband's personality in a photo. I also cannot leave our his awesome wife and assistant Becca. Her sweet and calm demeanor kept my nerves down and her extra lense of point of view added to our great photos! When I'm having a bad day at work, I find myself looking at our wedding pictures and all of the moments Tyler and Becca captured of our family and friends on such an important day. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Tyler for both our engagement session and wedding day photos. From the time I contacted Tyler for general information on his services until he provided us the final copies of our photos he was 100% professional and always quick to respond with any and all questions we had. He was open to all ideas we had and wanted to make our pictures uniquely our own while also offering his expert opinion and ideas. My (now) husband and I had never taken professional pictures before and Tyler was very patient and helpful by giving us guidance on what to do and we looked like pros! He was a pleasure to work with and made the whole experience fun and stress-free, which is exactly what we needed while planning so many things for the wedding. Our photographer is one item we never had to worry about after choosing to work with Tyler. Not only was the picture-taking experience great, but the final pictures are fantastic! Tyler was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Its so true that photography is the most important thing since that is all you will have after the big day is over. Tyler was so easy to work with and came up with a schedule that fit our timing and budget. We had a small wedding (35 people) planned in less that 6 weeks and Tyler was extremely flexible and helpful throughout the process. Tyler kept everyone on schedule and calm day of as well. He knew all the great places around UVA grounds to get shots and he even did some amazing night shots with sparklers. We were SO happy when we got the pictures back. They were exactly what we were hoping for - very elegant and classy and in no way cheesy. The hardest part is choosing the ones to frame since we like so many. Thank you so much Tyler!
