The best decision David and I made during our wedding planning was hiring Halie for our wedding photography. She is so amazing at what she does and so organized with it! Which is something we have in common; I am super Type-A so the relationship I built with Halie was top tier and it made the whole planning process/wedding day a breeze.

For David and I, our Rhode Island wedding was a destination as we are from Maryland so this made things a bit more complex with scheduling and understanding the area. When planning our engagement shoot, Halie made perfect suggestions for different locations to satisfy the different vibes I wanted in our pictures. During the shoot, she put us at ease and helped pose us in different ways to get the perfect shot. She also captured family photos for my family and I while we were all in Rhode Island for wedding planning activities. This helped us have an even closer bond with Halie and she got to see some of the family dynamics. All of the photos were absolutely beautiful!!!

Between our engagement shoot and our wedding, Halie stayed in constant communication with me and gave me so many good tips/suggestions/ideas throughout the process. She made us a custom photo timeline for the whole wedding day. This was so helpful, and we used her photo timeline as our baseline when engaging with all of our other vendors to ensure they were all on the same schedule.

Halie captured pictures of our rehearsal dinner and intimate private sailboat ride with our inner circle. It was so fun to have her there to capture all of our New England details that we had spent so much time planning. Once again, she nailed it and got so many great pictures of us and our families! If you are considering adding rehearsal coverage, this is your sign to do it!!!

Now for the wedding day, she truly outdid herself! She came fully prepared to dive into all of the shots and was reassuring me when I realized we were running slightly behind schedule. She was like my director that day and I had complete trust in her for all of it. She remained calm, poised, professional throughout all of the wedding day chaos. All of our wedding party was so impressed by Halie's well thought out photography.

When we received our sneak peeks, we were just in utter shock!! They were stunning and exactly what we were hoping for. Halie’s photography style is the perfect blend of romantic and timeless. David and I are forever grateful for the memories that Halie and her team captured on our wedding day. We truly cannot recommend Halie enough! She is amazing!

Halie is absolutely amazing! She is so talented, and working with her for our wedding was a dream. She is so much more than a photographer. She acted as a full on day of wedding coordinator keeping us on a timeline that made everything flow seamlessly. She coordinated with our venue and other vendors behind the scenes and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. We had several planning calls with her to make sure everything was exactly how we envisioned it. She puts in so much work beforehand, and it shows! Her work is absolutely incredible and has the light airy feel we were going for. We hired her and her second shooter Val, who was also amazing! We got well over 1,000 photos. While many of the photos were ‘candids’, she instructed us how to pose in a way that didn’t look posed at all. She has lots of little tricks for that. Hire her, you won’t regret it!

It’s truly hard to put into words how grateful we are to have had Halie as our wedding photographer. Halie is extremely talented and genuinely cares about her couples. After reviewing her social media, Halie was the first vendor we reached out to and booked in 2019. From the very first time talking to her over the phone, we were blown away by her personality and professionalism. During our engagement session she took time to really get to know us, which made us feel so comfortable and it showed in our photos. When news of COVID-19 began to circulate in March of 2020, Halie was the first vendor to check in with us to see not only how we were doing with wedding planning, but also how we were in general. She was so flexible through the rescheduling process and provided advice, support and insight as we changed our date and venue. Halie continued to impress us on our wedding day by going above and beyond. She was such a rock, keeping us on track while giving us peace of mind at the same time. Halie was such a joy to be around and her attention to detail, organization and communication skills were unmatched. We received a few photos that very night and we were completely blown away. To say we are in love with our full wedding album is an understatement. We continue to get compliments on how absolutely gorgeous our photos are almost a year later. Book her now before her dates fill up; it will be the best decision you make for your wedding day. We have found our photographer for life!

Halie is by far the best photographer we could have chosen. She was one of our first booked vendors - and thank goodness for that - because she recommended pretty much all of our other vendors too! Not only is she exceptionally talented, but she is also incredibly organized, friendly, professional, and such a dream to work with. This shows through her client testimonials as well as her relationships with other wedding vendors in the Boston area. My husband and I had never worked with a photographer before, and Halie instantly made us feel comfortable during our first shoot for our engagement. Having Halie photograph our wedding was simply the BEST decision we ever made. Right from the start, she was so easy to work with and always willing to go the extra mile. She is so organized, thoughtful, fun and literally the kindest person we’ve ever met. Most importantly, she was ALWAYS there if we needed anything at all. She advice for everything from telling us what color schemes would look best to what to wear during our engagement pictures. Seriously, she knows it all! Our wedding truly wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was if we didn’t have Halie. She honored all of our wishes and made sure that our wedding was everything we dreamt of and more! When we opened our final gallery, it felt like we were back at our wedding. We are blown away by each and every one of them. The pictures are so incredibly beautiful and not only capture our love but all of our amazing family and friends. Having Halie as our wedding photographer was the best decision we could have made. I attributed her to the camp counselor of the wedding day! Between setting up the timeline for the day, to making the wedding party comfortable and keeping everyone 'in line' as well as working with our families to ensure they got the photos they wanted, she was on top of it all! Having our engagement photo shoot was so great because she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. The entire planning process with her was seamless from start to finish and on the day of we couldn't have asked for a better photographer! There are not enough good things to say about Halie. After reviewing her social media, I knew her style was exactly what I was looking for. She did not disappoint the more I got to know her either. She was extremely supportive right off the bat and just so easy to talk to. She was really there for my husband and me while we postponed our wedding and she was always available to chat about any details, big or small. Fast forward to our wedding day and she came in so professional and prepared. She had done all the family tree research ahead of time to get to know the people and the dynamics before it was time for photos. Because of her dedication, our (very large) family photos went so smoothly. Her assistant was just as great as Halie, they worked so hard on our wedding day. We recently received our pictures and we were just beyond blown away. We received hundreds more images than we ever expected and she did not miss a single detail. That was really special because I spent a lot of time making decisions on things like flowers, place settings, desserts, etc and the day goes by so fast so I didn't even see how some things turned out. She got so many candids of our guests and it is so nice to have those memories of who attended our wedding. Our wedding portraits are just stunning, we can't believe how good we look! Halie gave us the best memories to cherish and look back upon. It was a total pleasure getting to know Halie, she is so kind and it is obvious she loves her work. I will be looking for excuses to work with her in the future!

Halie is an amazing photographer, and we really loved working with her! It was obvious from our first phone call that she really cares about her clients and understands all of the uncertainties that couples are dealing with in the COVID era, which I cannot say is true of all of our other vendors.
