Linda is an amazing woman. She is very patient and understands what the dress shopping and fitting experiences SHOULD be. She's a human being who truly loves the bridal industry but not how stuck up it can be. She does work many other jobs, but I could tell, this is where her joy lies. She did more than one house call visit for me to try on dresses, even bringing a bottle of wine to celebrate my engagement for the first fitting! I think she brought half of her inventory for me to try! (The other half wouldn't have fit my plus sized frame) We discussed alteration options like there was no limit, but those weren't my dress and she understood and even told me not to settle until it was THE dress. I ordered a dress from SimplyBridal the night before she announced on her facebook page that she was going to be working with them! I contacted her after I saw the announcement and we set an appointment as soon as I got the dress from UPS. Someone else purchased me a different dress from ebay (which I loved but was never going to fit me) and once I tried on the one from SimplyBridal, we all knew. We all agreed (my friend who was at the fitting, Linda and I) that this was the one! I looked at the other dress, knowing Linda worked consignment also and asked if she'd be willing to take it as payment for alterations on my gown! She did, without skipping a beat! We met for 4 or 5 fittings after that, and she didn't finish until I was happy with it. She even delivered my dress to me (after personally dressing another bride she worked with) and let me borrow her steamer in case something wrinkled in transport! She's a fantastic woman who's willing to bend over backwards to make a bride happy, and I honestly feel bad for her when brides take advantage of that. In Linda I found more than a seamstress, I found a new friend.

I loved my Wedding gown. I bought a beautiful gown at a great price. I had alterations to make it fit like a glove. I had limited funds and they help to make all my Wedding dreams come. Thank you.

The dresses pictured on the website are not the dresses that you will receive. She orders her dresses from China, which is why the dresses are so much cheaper than an authentic bridal boutique. She was not honest with me and inferred that I would be receiving the same dress that I had tried on in a David's Bridal. When the dress came, though it was beautiful and very similar to the dress on her website, it was obviously a knock-off. She claims that she never said it was the same dress, yet there are no warnings on the website that the dress ordered will be a cheaper copy of the dresses pictured. By posting pictures on her website of designer dresses, she is breaking copyright laws. If you're fine with you dress being a knock-off from China, then that is fine. But you should be warned that the dress will be different and you could order from China yourself at a MUCH cheaper price. If I had wanted a dress from China then I would have ordered it on another website for about $400 cheaper.

Purchased a dress and needed the length altered. Took her forever to let me know the dress came in. Went for a fitting & got the dress back and it was all raveled on the bottom and the back was shorter than the front. The front of the dress didn't look altered at all and I was stepping on it. When we called the lady back to get it fixed no one answered the phone and no one returned our call. Just what you don't want to happen a week before a wedding. I was forced to find someone else to fix the raveled mess she left me with. Would never purchase anything from her again. For the $20 a saved on the dress I it wasn't worth it.

cheap knock off dress refused to refund deposit.

Prior to purchase of an Alfred Angelo dress I asked specifically if the dress was an authentic Alfred Angelo. Linda Yarmey, Busy Mom's Bridal owner, said it was (it was twice the price of what the Chinese knock-off were selling). She promised 5 weeks delivery.

After 5 weeks she said it would be delivered in 6 weeks. Then after 8 weeks it was "on the way". Then it was "lost in the mail" and her supplier was sending another dress "the next day"!! Finally, after 10 weeks it was delivered.

A complete mess. An obvious knock-off fraud with no label, wrong trim, wrong cut, etc. Yarmey said it was her supplier's fault and it should have been authentic. I returned the dress at my $30 cost and she promised a refund several times. When she said she would "send a money order" I knew something was really stinky. I filed a claim with PayPal and my credit card. She was still promising a refund to me while at the same time telling PayPal just the opposite story. She made one false claim after another.

Each of our 8 brides maids also ordered dresses from Yarmey. Yarmey never delivered any of the 8 brides maids dresses and all the brides maids had to individually file claims with their financial institutions to get their money back.

Dishonest. Dishonest. Dishonest. What more can I say.
