Hey there! My name is Robert Palmer and I am so happy that you are taking the time to check out my photography profile. I started Brooktree Studios in order to provide the absolute best experience for couples during their wedding journey!
When it comes to wedding photography most people think of awkward poses, or uncomfortable smiles. That is not what I am all about! My goal is to make you laugh and have fun in front of the camera by telling terrible jokes and acting like your best friend on your wedding day, that way your laughs are real and your photos will be genuine!
I also support all of my couples before the wedding day. We talk about timelines, outfits for your engagement session, recommended vendors, and more! Having been a part of so many weddings I can help take some of that stress off of your shoulders. I am always available to chat, so you will never have to wait for an email back from me, communication is key!
When the wedding day is over and you’re finally married and relaxing I want to be there for you as well. You’ll get a sneak peek of your wedding gallery just 24 hours after your day, so that you can immediately share and show off your amazing dress or suit with photos that weren’t taken by a cell phone! I edit and return all of my wedding galleries in just 4 weeks, so you won’t have to wait until your anniversary to actually see your album!

How can we describe Robert? He was definitely one of the most important and MOST REWARDING decisions that we made for our wedding day!! As a couple, we are not the most comfortable in front of a camera, and Robert was more than able to make us feel at ease, relaxed, and most importantly just help us to enjoy our special day. From the beginning, Robert was there for us. He was always a phone call, text or email away; and we never had to wait for a response. All of our questions were a priority to him and he really made us feel #1. Robert's photography was incredible. No, stunning! We were thrilled with how everything turned out and so quickly as well!! Not to mention the included Engagement Session with our package. We honestly couldn't have had such a wonderful and care free weekend without him. If you are on the fence between Robert and another photographer, you will not regret booking him EVER.

Professional and Personal
We had an amazing experience with Brooktree Studios. Robert was great to work with and extremely professional. He did a great job communicating with us ahead of time to get timeline and location details. He really made sure he understood what we wanted from him. He came on time and prepared the day of the wedding. He was really fun to work, making jokes and just checking in with us. He got us a sneak peak of our photos the very next day and all of our photos were ready a little over three weeks after the wedding. The photos look fantastic and my wife and I couldn't be happier with them!

They just knew our vision
loved working with Brooktree and highly recommend them to anyone . I loved how easy it was to communicate with them on the online portal. They were always quick to respond. The online payment plan was genius and really helped with the stress of paying for the wedding. They were willing to get creative with us on our theater themed engagement shoot. Daniel is an amazing photographer. Our wedding photos came out perfect. I love that he captured some amazing candid moments. My husband and I look amazing in every photo. There isn't a single photo that I didn't like how I looked in it. Daniel made it less awkward in the moment while posing. I loved that they worked with us to do the photo run. Daniel truly understood our vision for the wedding and had fun with it

Hands-down the best
Brooktree Studios was hands down the best to capture our special day. Oliver and Daniel made an awesome team and listened to what we wanted. They were constantly on the move to make sure they got the shots they knew we would love. We had our sneak peek early the next morning and the rest of our photos shortly followed. At the end of the day, all you have are the memories and the pictures and Brooktree made sure we had both. I will recommend them to everyone!

Perfectly Captured
I can't say enough great things about how our wedding photos turned out. From getting ready to send off, Ollie perfectly captured the day exactly how I want to remember it. From the look in my husband's eyes as I walked down the aisle to every personality of our loved ones on the dance floor, he got it all. We get so many compliments on our photos. Brooktree Studios is hands down the photographer you want for your wedding.

We loved working with Robert!
Robert did such a fabulous job! From planning the timeline to capturing our big day he was so professional with his work yet personable with communication. We loved how he was always ready with great photo ideas but always left it up to us to decide what we wanted. He answered all of our questions in detail and made the planning process so smooth. He was excellent to work with and we were so happy we chose him for both our engagement session and wedding day!

Our new bff
I'm from a small, close-knit town and was met with a little skepticism from family and friends when they heard I didn't hire one of the three regular photographers that do weddings in our area. Robert quickly made us so sure that we made the best choice for us! Everybody only had great things to say after our wedding day!! Robert really fit in with our huge wedding party and made us feel so comfortable! our photos turned out more amazing than I could have ever imagined. My husband and I really can't say enough great things!

The perfect Photographer for our Wedding
Rob was an awesome photographer to work with! From our engagement photos which were absolutely perfect to put on our save the dates to the captivating photos of our wedding. He knew exactly what he was doing. He also made sure we knew exactly what we were doing with the perfect amount of coaching to all people involved to make the photos look better than we could have ever hoped. As someone who chronically worries about so many aspects, he made me really feel taken care of. The organization of all the photos and different groupings were something I thought would be stressful but was truly painless with his help and guidance. We got all of our photos from our wedding back and we were stunned. They were all so amazing. His chipper personality and overall funness really showed through. Our wonderful Videographer, Amy Rankin worked really well together with him. I highly recommend the two of them together. They had an awesome working relationship and really helped us to feel like stars on our big day.
His work ethic was outstanding. While dinner was being served and he was eating, he was editing photos from the ceremony and first dance so they could be displayed on his macbook which was left on one of the gift tables for the remainder of the reception. Great touch! Our sneak peak was ready by the following Monday, literally like 2 days from our wedding, to drop on social media. Look no further, this is the guy.

Robert is a dream photographer to work with! He helped our day flow so easily and had great ideas for different types of photos. He was so kind and easy to get along with and helped Phil and I feel relaxed and be ourselves throughout the entire day. We would recommend him to our friends and family a million times over. We're thrilled with our photo sneak peak of our wedding day and can't wait to see the rest!

Fun, Professional, and Lively!
I rarely write reviews, but Oliver and Daniel from Brooktree Studios are absolutely fantastic!! They genuinely made the day so fun! We met several times before the wedding to make sure my husband and I felt comfortable with the plan for the day which I really appreciated. Neither myself nor my husband are very comfortable posing in front of the camera so we were initially a little nervous, but Oliver and Daniel's light-hearted energy really made us relax and have fun with it. They did a fantastic job of directing us while still encouraging us to be ourselves. We had such a fun time spending the day with them that we were genuinely sad to see them leave at the end of the night!
Oliver was quick to send us our sneak peak pictures the morning after the wedding, and the photos looked amazing! Oliver also sent us a few pictures to get our opinion on the way the photos were edited and I really appreciated that he engaged us in the process. Although we weren't expecting to receive our completed gallery until the end of the month, our gallery was completed and released to us 2 weeks after the wedding. Overall, Oliver and Daniel from Brooktree Studios were energetic, professional, and brought so much joy to our day. We cannot thank them enough for capturing so many wonderful moments!!
