We cannot thank Jacob and Ariel enough for capturing our wedding day in Gatlinburg Tennessee at Almost Heaven Resorts and Weddings. We had absolutely minimal fears going into our big day with Ariel and Jacob, if we had any fears it was not associated with how these two would carry out their jobs. It was truly nice to not have to worry about the photos and videos because I knew we were in good hands.

Ariel did our photographs and Jacob did our videography work. It was unbelievable to have two extremely artistic and savvy people work off of each other and feed off of each other. Ariel and Jacob are an elite team, they made us feel comfortable, it was truthfully like spending time with friends.

The actual wedding day was a breeze Ariel and Jacob showed up early and got right to work. Again they made us feel comfortable and not once overwhelmed. Not once did they judge us or pressure us into doing anything uncomfortable. This day couldn’t have been better, we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our day!

The best decision we made was choosing a destination wedding in Tennessee, and secondly choosing Ariel and Jacob to capture our day!

Working with Ariel was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we booked her, she went above and beyond — not just as a photographer, but as someone who genuinely cared about making our day run smoothly. During the planning process, she helped us map out our entire timeline, offering thoughtful advice on everything from when to start the ceremony to the best lighting for portraits and even how to structure the reception so we could actually enjoy it. Her organization and experience took so much stress off our shoulders.

We also did an engagement session with her, which we absolutely loved. It gave us a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and get a feel for her direction and style before the wedding.

Ariel was amazing on the wedding day — calm and organized. She kept us on schedule without ever feeling rushed and handled every little hiccup with ease. We never once felt stressed because she was already on top of it.
We really felt like she had our back from start to finish.

When we received our gallery, we were so touched by how beautifully Ariel captured the day. The photos are natural, true to us, and filled with emotion. Every image felt real and full of life, like we were right back there again.

We hired Ariel as our wedding photographer and could not have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, she was incredibly professional, prompt, and easy to communicate with. Ariel made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and gave such helpful posing guidance, which really showed in how natural and beautiful the photos turned out. The quality of her work is absolutely top tier — every shot feels timeless and perfectly captures the emotion of the day. I couldn’t have imagined my wedding day without Ariel. Picking a photographer is such an important decision for your wedding and I was looking for someone who clicked with my personality, would capture my day beautifully, and someone who would make the day fun (even in extremely hot temperatures). I initially inquired information about a lot of photographers, but when Ariel sent me her information and I looked over her website and social media pages, I knew she was the one I wanted to hire. My experience working with Ariel was truly SO MUCH FUN!! On our engagement shoot, she drove to my family’s farm and took pictures of us while a huge thunderstorm (and later tornado) rolled in, and still to this day, we are obsessed with those pictures. Her concept was capturing the best experience even if we were soaking wet afterward. That shoot was truly the most fun I’ve ever had while taking pictures. Since our wedding was during COVID, we had a lot of things up in the air until the last month before the wedding and Ariel continued to check-in with me about our upcoming plans, which was so sweet! On the day of our wedding, during the 100+ degree temperatures, she helped keep up with the timeline (even when the boys were behind) and truly made me feel so relaxed during the process. She made the posed pictures so fun and her creative style really shows when you get the images back. Also on the day of our wedding, she graciously took the guy’s getting ready pictures at the golf course during a round of golf. When we received our gallery, I spent at least 4 hours that night looking through all of them and sending them to friends and family because I was obsessed. If you are looking for a wedding photographer who will make taking pictures fun, make you’re wedding day stress-free, and capture your day beautifully, hire Ariel. At the end of our wedding, I felt like Ariel was one of my friends. I could not have imagined having anyone else capture our special day!

Ariel made our wedding day. She helped me navigate through this whole covid crisis. We had to move our date three times. And she helped me finally get married. Literally. Illinois was still only allowing gatherings of 10 people, so she helped me find a wedding venue in Missouri. She is a photographer and wedding planner wrapped into one. She is a problem solver and one of the sweetest people I've ever met. And the photos, well they are just STUNNING. I couldn't have worked with a better photographer!

She genuinely went above and beyond to get amazing photos for our engagement and day of pictures. We had to switch to an elopement (thanks, covid!), but she helped us keep a great attitude and we could not believe just how breathtaking they all came out... She perfectly captured everything and was an absolute gem. I cannot recommend her enough!

Ariel was so sweet and helpful throughout the whole process, from initial asking initial questions to helping us figure out how COVID was changing our wedding plans. On the business side, she is so professional, responsive, and clear about everything. On a personal side, Ariel is so encouraging and funny, really helping us feel calm, comfortable, and laughing during our engagement and wedding shoots. And the pictures she produces are absolutely amazing! I was initially drawn to her by her photography style, and our pictures turned out so incredible. I can’t wait to have our post-COVID wedding reception pictures from her, too!
